The game isnt perfect, but come on its pretty damn good. How old are all of you anyways? Im a 40 year old gamer and proud of it. I think alot of you younger gamers are spoiled rotten. Try going back to 1985 and play a RPG back then and tell me what you think. To much whinning and [censored]ing going on here. I'll say it again like I have in previous post, you try to make a game like this, and go without bugs. Spoiled rotting generation we have now.

Well, I'm only 32, but I agree with you about the younguns (I feel like this younger generation is generally whiny and has an overpronounced sense of entitlement to begin with, and never mind my thoughts on the fate of masculinity.....).
Skyrim kicks ass and takes names!

26. Younger than both of you, but I played the old MU games online and text based adventures. I played Daggerfall and loved it as well as the original might & magic games. I'm finding Skyrim absolutely glorious.

I'm in total agreement, but not one one thing: you said "You try making the game ans see how good it is".

You have no clue how ignorant statements like that are. Not being a game programmer doesn't invalidate any criticism for a game, just like you can't defend Transformers as a good film by saying "Well YOU try making a movie that good."

All work has to stand up to criticism from the people that it is targetted towards, so if it is rubbish, even difficult to produce rubbish, then that doesn't make criticism invalid.

For example: "This steak tastes awful! It's got bits of glass in it too!"
"well you try making a steak and see if you can do better"
"Well, now that you put it that way, I guess it tastes quite good!"

That's just nonsense.

(Note please that I am a huge fan of Skyrim, I just think this variety of argument is rubbish)

Just turned 64 in October.

Been gaming since I purchased my first computer in 1982, a C-64 with 2 drives. Fondly remember 300 baud modems - what an improvement when you look at today's on-line playing.

Edit: Seems like some companies can make a pretty good game that doesn't cause a lot of problems. Let's take Blizzard making a game that's running on 10-12 million computers without major issues. I played WoW for 5 years and never had a problem - only on patch day, and then it turned out to be a bad patch. Otherwise, game was running without problems.

WoW's had years to fix all its problems though.

as to the OP Planning a day 1 release is a problem but i can understand if they want to hit that specific date and not push it back. I'm 17 and love Skyrim, same with Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, and New Vegas. I've never had any problems that were truly game breaking for me. So dont blame age on whining, im sure there are plenty of 40 year old whiners.

Maturity and age don't always go hand in hand. For every young player who complains about one feature, there's an older gamer who is holding up those early RPGs you mention as the absolute pinnacle of gaming, and any change whatsoever rivals blasphemy. It goes both ways. Simply blaming "the youngin's" doesn't seem very mature to me.
