A simple "Hi this is cry-somebody, and we're aware there are issues, and we're working on fixing them!" No time line needed, no promises about what will be fixed. Just a simple word or two from a dev. How long has it been since a dev or a mod have said a word about a patch? The latest PC patch aside, which as far as I could tell didn't really fix any mp gameplay issues for the pc, and they're all pissed that it doesn't include dx11. I mean just say something. Were I a game designer and a vocal portion of the community was constantly raging about my game, I'd probably release some bit of information to at least let people know that I was doing all I could to work on it. Maybe that's just too much to ask, maybe all the people saying "they have our $60, so now they no longer care" are right...I'd prefer not to think that, but wow it's been a long, awkward silence from crytek's side of the table.
