@DCDeacon I'm a firm supporter of Skyrim, but why would you drop such huge hints about werewolves being in when they are not?....

@DCDeacon @RuggedMb "NO" would have been a great single word to use months ago. Or....one of the first 50 times asked. People aint happy.

Pete Hines
@OzzardTheWoz @ruggedmb "no" would have been answering yet another spoiler question and I made it clear I was not doing that.

EDIT : I didn't tweet this by the way, I just found this on Pete's twitter. Also, he never states that they are NOT confirmed. He simply doesn't allude to anything which might mean they're still in.

We did find out. I'm pretty sure they are saving them for another Bloodmoon sense it has been 200 years and it's time for a new one. I'm completely ok with that and will pay whatever to do anything similar to what was in Bloodmoon.

As long as its in a dlc im not to bothered that they didn't manage to put it in vanilla. would have prefered it in vanilla though.

It was technically a "I don't know" response from the get go. Todd Howard, in summary pretty much said if it works out, then it works out...but didn't seem to concerned about it as they wanted to focus on other things. I am sure it will be in forthcoming DLC.

The whole werewolf hype was created by the fans. Everyone took it to level 10, in the response as if they were actually going to surprise us. Its still going to be a really amazing game from the sounds, and look of it. Plus the TES history hasn't had let downs or disappointment. Also judging by the critics response from these 3 hour demos. I can bet when this comes out, the last thing on your mind will be OMG where are the werewolves and then by then, DLC arrives.

Just saying, if they are in, there in. If not, they didn't lie to us.

'Twasn't

You heartless person you...

And it looks like no one saw the thread where werewolves were confirmed to have not made it into the vanilla version of the game. Possible DLC, though.

Point is, they'll likely be added in a Bloodmoon-style DLC/Expansion. All hope isn't lost, chaps. :tops:

Rule 1: Bethesda lies.

Rule # 1: Don't assume a developer not wanting to spoil game content counts as confirmation.

People jumping to conclusions simply because nothing has been said isn't lying...It's people having overactive imaginations and reading too far into things that literally don't mean a thing.

I wanted Werewolves to be in the main game rather than DLC, but since they're not...oh well. DLC maybe. Regardless, NBD. They didn't say they were in, so they didn't lie.

This should be a prime example of how Bethesda is damned if they do, and damned if they don't. I think they handled it smartly.
