one thing though I have meet Camilla and I assume
that one has to grab the shield when she shows it to you, later
it is impossible to open the wall again.

You can't grab the shield that easily. What does your last journal entry say?
I think I encountered two bugs in the main quest. During the bow of envy quest, I talked to Testimonia and after she was done talking i received the quest "Clerical Dalliance", which from the journal entry it seems this quest should be given by the priest in chorrol.

Yes I noticed this when I was testing it yesterday. It was actually supposed to start a Bruma quest (The Akaviri Obsession quest from Lyra Rosentia), not that Chorrol quest.
Forget about the second one I figured out what to do. I think the 3rd gauntlets should be given to you the first time you talk to the NPC though not after you find the second pair as there is no indication that he will give you a pair the first time you talk to him.

Probably a good idea. :)
This is so exciting to hear that the next update is coming out fairly soon!

Just keep in mind that I have 2 more quests to finish and some other stuff. ;)

Also Bleral is creating a unique quest icon for 'Death and the Maiden' and the Cluttermonkey Guild, and a faction icon for the Cluttermonkey Guild. :)

tHIS QUEST UPDATE YOU are working on, how does one integrate
that into ones game, is it even possible or you have to install
the whole thing once again?

Updating shouldn't be a problem, generally. There are a few rare occassions where there could be an issue if you're at a certain quest stage in some quests, but those chances are pretty low, and easy to fix.

A new script is run at the start which adds the new topics for the new quests, and sets a few more NPCs essential, instead of adding it all to the original startup script. That way it doesn't require a new game for the new quests to be added. All the journal entry improvements, extra quest markers and better facial expressions for the old quests will not cause any problems.

There are a few minor improvements to some of the NPCs added by the mod which may not take effect if you've already met them, but they're not very important.

All things taken into account updating the mod from 1.06 to 2.0 should go smoothly for most people. The only extra thing you have to do is if you created the silent voice files with TES4Gecko to slow the dialogue you have to do so again, because of all the new dialogue. Those using the OBSE plugin that slows dialogue don't have to do anything.

I finished testing and tweaking Pride and Greed now, finishing the Deadly Sins section. The Helmet of Greed quest is one of my favourite quests in the main quest.
For the people who've played the mod for a bit , which quests did you like best?

I haven't tried "enough" quests to judge which one is the best :) I have a question though, since I haven't tried all of the quests (who here has anyway, apart from the creator? ;) ) Does KDQ add new settlements and particular locations on the wilderness or make some modification with existing settlements (beside the NPC) ?

Yeah I see your point. :P

Not really. Three houses, a tent and one tower in wilderness locations have been added for the main quest (The tower not even visible until the end) and another tent in one of the miscellaneous quests but aside from that and a few quest items here and there, there are no real new settlements or changes to existing settlements. Most of the new things added are things you don't run into until the quest leads you there.

And NPCs also aren't directly altered, they were only given new dialogue, so it should work with most NPC altering mods.

The fact that we've used so many locations and NPCs from the original game is why the .esp is still so small, when the mod was first released some people were wondering if it was fake. :D

The quest that I found most enjoyable so far was most likely the "The Crown of Stars quest." It made you explore places that most people would not even bother to look for. I also found the baby sitting quest pretty fun. The npc you talk to is pretty funny. The document quests are pretty interesting too; I have only found 3 so far.

Oh also for the baby sitting quest I would recommend changing the lodge to be a "public" place instead of private so he doesn't keep yelling at you to get out and then falling completely in love with you when you talk to him.

Baby Sitting is also one of my favourites, along with Vampire Rising and the upcoming Death and the Maiden. :hubbahubba:

The lodge should probably be made public, yes.

I am searching for the robe of lust at the moment and have been todl
to start a fight and kill two characters, both are said to be at Riverview,
I assume that is the house in Cheydinal? Anyway they are not there,
I have been waiting for two days. I liked the gloves quest all those
variants of gloves.

Yes it's the house in Cheydinhal. They shouldn't be difficult to find, normally. It's possible that they're already dead.
Spoiler
In the original game they're mythic dawn Agents
. If they're indeed dead already, talking to Jack again should continue the quest.

I'm not sure about the release date for 2.0 anymore. As the end of January gets closer I'm getting busier and busier with school related things, until the 5th of February. I'll get some things done but the to-do list keeps growing so it's definitely not going to be a January release. That's why I usually don't post release dates until a few days in advance, because they never work out. :P

That I promise. :P

Yeah it works really well. No stress as the promised deadline is closing in, and no disappointing the people waiting for it when a promised deadline isn't met. Before you know it 3 years have passed. :P

The 'An Inflammatory Letter' quest is getting an overhaul, it is currently very confusing and unrewarding. Could be a lot better.

A small question, I found a bottle with some messages outside Ongars schack in Bruma, does
this have anything to do with one of your quests? If so the person does not have the object
in question.

Having some trouble with Somewhere Some Plates For Us. Supposedly,
Spoiler
I'm supposed to get a dog painting, and they tell me that Chorrol is the place to start looking.
Fair enough, only when I get there,
Spoiler
nobody will say a word about it. Including the Bruiants, who I'm guessing must be the dog couple. Nothing at all.

What's going wrong here?

I don't remember anything like that, so I don't think it's from KDQ. You can use http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16704 utility to find out about what mod any item/NPC/whatever came from.

They (the Bruiants) should have a Dogs topic, which should've been added the moment you activate the mod. I just checked the startup script and this does not seem to be the case. You can still get the dog topic activated by talking to Casta Scribonia. I'll make sure this problem is corrected in the update so that talking directly to the Bruiants works as well.

I haven't even started the main quest yet but I must say it's one of my favorite quest mod already, adding a little something everywhere you go(it really feels like it completes the game more than any other mod)!
Just bought a book on the Ayleyd's ruins in chorrol's bookstore that just made my oblivion-day :).
It really adds a touch of humor in the otherwise humorless oblivion universe.

Hmm thinking about it Bethesda writers have no sense of humor at all, even fallout 3 was humorless, how strange(that I didn't notice before).

Anyway thank you for this great mod(I would even say expansion!).

But I just passed Casta Scribonia in the street, and she didn't have a word to say about dogs. Maybe the key is her long lost twin sister in Cheydinhal? ;)

Not sure if it matters, but I did also get to the "go to the shrine" part of the daedric bone quest long before I ever started the plates quest. Nothing since though.

You get the dog painting for finishing the quest. Maybe I'll add a dog painting topic which explains that she'll give it to you if you help her.

All things considered I think the plates quest could use a better reward as well...

Which inscription for the grave did you choose? If you pick Isleif's descirption there is a bug in the current version which prevents the quest from finishing. I fixed it on my current esp, I'll see if there's anything you can do to get around the problem.

Also, Happy birthday to Malchik: Quest+Dialogue+Book writer, tester and friend!

but it was not especially nice, what about the bottle I asked about earlier?

Yeah that's the one with the bug. I'll have a look if there's an easy fix with the console.
