There's a txt file in the main download, not the hotfix sorry.

There is a room behind where Bashful should stand. Maybe he moved and you're looking in the wrong place. It's a room a few meters back from where Sleepy sleeps, on the right. You have to open a wooden door to get there.

I am trying to track down the gauntlets of gluttony, damn there is a lot of gauntlets
anyway the argonian had sold one pair of mismatched ones to an Orcparty and
I have to search 3 places, when I arrived at one of these places there was an orc
outside but he has nothing to say and the door is locked, I am confused, help.

Unless you've encountered the orc earlier somehow, he should say 'A word, I beg you.'. And he should have the Gauntlets topic. If he doesn't, can you succesfully add it with the following console command?

addtopic darjee1yes

If not, does your last journal entry of the quest say:

Spoiler
The orc adventurers who bought the gauntlets could be in Wenyandawik to the south (of Hircine's shrine), Sardavar Leed to the north or Culotte east across the Niben. The locations have been marked on my map.

Well, more or less like that. I'm copying this from my own esp so this may be one of the journal entries with improved directions. Still the basic message should be the same.

Also people please don't assassinate each other in this thread, it leaves a mess. k? :stare:

I just got Branwen's quest. I love how you make her tell me not to use the CS or go on the internet to find out where the books are.

Which is exactly what I intend to do.

...unless I get some kind of hint as to where the books are.

Thankyou and yes I have that entry, well I think anyway I will try, I have noticed that you have added a new book
called Guide to visiting Ayleid ruins, it is not very helpful though but I had some good laughs as I suspect that you
also had when you wrote it.

I am sorry to say that the consolecommand did not work, and yes I have that entry in my diary, I also vagely recall that he said
something like that "I beg you" or something but the topic did not appear, are you sure that is the right command?

Just one more idea... Did you go inside the ruin already, maybe a long time ago, and picked up either Kruga's amulet or Pol's Ring from one of the dead orcs? I believe there is a problem in 1.06 where those bodies would be accessible even before the Gluttony quest.

The first Gauntlets topic only shows up if you don't have either of those items in your inventory. In case you have one of them, here's the dialogue so you'll know what's going on:
Spoiler
Thoral gro-Rand

A word, I beg you.

Player: Gauntlets

TGR

We went inside to clear the ruins as we have done many times in the past. But something failed. My brother and my wife... For pity's sake I want something to remember them by. I have the gauntlets you speak of but as Pol gra-Ra bought them I cannot part with them unless I have something more personal. She had a ring I gave her. My brother Kruga had an amulet. If you can bring them to me. The gauntlets are yours.

Once you've found both the amulet and the ring the gauntlets topic should appear on him again, you can hand the items over and he'll give you the gauntlets he has.

All credit go to Malchik. He wrote all the books, and the Guide to visiting Ayleid Ruins actually started out as a forum post on TesNexus years ago. And no it's not very helpful. :hehe:

Errr...So when is v 2.0 coming? I thought you said June 7th...

Should I just install v 1.06 right now, and then upgrade to v 2.0 when out? I don't want to lose my progress by clean saving, so I can wait if needed. But my game is missing out a lot without KDQ...

We estimated that Malchik would be done with testing on the 7th, assuming he didn't run into any problems. But several issues popped up which slowed down the testing a bit because they had to be fixed first. Right now it looks like the testing can be finished on Friday and if so, the release will be a few days later.

I wouldn't install 1.06 right now, it's not really worth the potential troubles with upgrading in a few days. You could use the rural line additions .esp though, it doesn't have any bugs and upgrading won't be an issue.

And yes, the endless delays are starting to get on my nerves too. :P

On the male dead orc. He's lying near the bottom of the stairs that lead down to a room with a dead end, with one of those stone pressure plates on the floor.

I unlocked the door and I found him, I had probably missed him earlier because he blended in with the stairs but now it is
on track again, thanks, one question though are there more new funny books somewhere?

All the booksellers in Cyrodiil sell a couple new books (Renoit's Books in Chorrol, The First Edition in the IC Market District, Southern Books in Leyawiin, Mach-Na's Books in Cheydinhal) through the dialogue topic 'new books' which is added the first time you speak to one of the book sellers.

Some of the books have a serious tone (The Fall of the Goblin King), some funny (Sheep, Alternative Armour). Some of the books have sequels (Milbereth and the Glass Kagouti). Copies of some of these books have been placed in several locations you visit during the mod's main quest.

I can't find the teleporter at the Bramblepoint cave!
Spoiler
I've gathered all of the Violet components and had IIpanderin break up with Violetta. I had Violetta follow me to Fort Coldcorn where she said she'll forever tend Litte's grave. Then I went to Bramblepoint cave and looked all over the place. I still can't find IIpanderin or the teleporter.

Ilplanderin is further into Bramblepoint cave than he usually is in other caves. When you enter the cave a little further ahead is a room where you can go to the left and right. Ilplanderin is somewhere around a corner to the right.

Man, I sure broke a lot of the quests with my tweaks. Good thing we went through them again. Almost done now. The release is some time next week, and that's a promise! :celebration:

Now trying to figure out why I ran into two Jhareds in the Knights of the Thorn lodge near the end of the Baby Sitting quest...

I don't care how long it takes to release, as long as it's clean and polished.

If this gets any more polish you're going to need a translator. [/lame joke]

It was a very good thing that we went through all the quests again after I made my 'improvements'. It delayed the release several months, but looking back if we hadn't done that the mod would've been a buggy mess. And if I hadn't made the improvements, well... Then the mod would be as confusing as it is now. :P
