Vamipire quest - I cannot find the amulet of

Ujeesha in Greyland - I'm assuming the greyland which is right outside of Layawiin ... I've torn the place apart (more that it already is) and I cannot find it. Either I'm looking in the wrong place or blind.
Please give answer.

also the porter of the Bravil FG tried to give me an unofficial contract to escort someone yet I got no quest in my journal/inventory and the person is not to be found and the porter has no further words to say about it. Sounds buggy.

I laid the inflammatory letter to rest for a while and tried to
solve the main quest and succeded, there was a thing that I
had overlooked well, well, but now another problem has arisen
I am supposed to find a corpse in the ocean north of Anvil, the fellow
I talked to said he was going to mark the general area on my map, but
alas he did not and it is a very big ocean so any hints anyone?

Sorry if this was reported already, but for "On the Waterfront" you set the value for the "povssicwaterfrontquest 26" check to 26... instead of 1 like the other two. This gives me no dialogue options and leaves me with a mute ghost stuck in my game.

I have a problem in the vampire rising quest, I found the scroll about Buffy and I am
supposed to talk to this woman how and where to perform the summoning, the problem is
that I got a questmarker showing that she is supposed to be in imp market but she is not,
so I checked her house in Talos plaza, not there either so she is simply gone very frustrating.

Did you also get the good item? (The Water of the Nine from Sister Angrond)?

If you use the console command movetoqt you'll be moved to the questmarker immediately. If Thamriel is not there she has disappeared somehow.
It happens. Too often. For no reason. It's not my fault. It svcks! :banghead:

You can spawn a new copy of Thamriel with placeatpc 0001FDCB 1,1,1 but I'd make sure she really is gone first.

The inflammatory letter is driving me crazy, I have been to every house and talked to
every NPC but I cannot find the damn letter, where is it?

First remember that you do not have to check for books that these people have purchased if they're not one of the books Helvo has borrowed.

Helvo borrowed the following books (Phintias gives you this list): The Argonian Account Book 1Dwemer History and Culture Fall of the Snow Prince,
The Old Ways, Tamrielic Lore and The Third Door.

These are the houses you need to check where NPCs live who have borrowed books that were both on Phintias list of borrowed books and the list of books Helvo had:

Cyronin's house, Iniel's house, Jastia's house and Kastus' house (3 people live there. There are two books)

After having checked all the books from the sintav family you should get a journal update. Then you need to check for books in the following houses:

Geem Jasaiin's house, Pista Marillin's house, King&Queen Tavern, Winson Luther Broads, Wumeek's house


Talking to the NPCs on the list is not necessary as long as you check all the books to advance the quest.

one more thing I noticed povuholo:

quest "just desserts"
I got the map marker for Alessia Ottus near Derelict mine
I went there only she was nowhere to be found.

To make the long story short I had to use the console (place at me) in order to trigger next quest stage and marked her as essential afterwards (don't think she would make it to the IC :P )

strange thing is that I thought you marked as essential all NPCs you used in the mod...

I did. All the NPCs are marked essential the moment you are visited by Larrion's ghost. Of course if they were killed before that...

And for some reason NPCs sometimes just disappear, even when they're essential. Usually it doesn't bother people or they don't notice it but now that all sorts of NPCs are involved in quests I keep getting reports of NPC X who is gone, etc... It might have happened to svartekaptenen now too. I don't know why it happens and what else I could do to prevent it from happening.

As you enter the building, look to your right immediately. In between of an empty open barrel and a clothing drawer with an upside down chair on it there are two ayleid blocks and the amulet is on top of them.

That's one of the new quests for the content update, I thought I disabled all the WIP quests when I posted the last bugfixing update.

It's right next to where you can find the Fin Gleam helmet in the original game.

The Ayleid Steps could be a cause. After the Player has done 50+ teleports, many vanilla NPCs start to explore the Steps. Nearly 120 NPCs who are not involved in Vanilla quests are inclined to go stepping. If they do this, they can be anywhere in Cyrodiil. But they always return home at around 01.00 AM, and stay there until ca. 08.00 AM before they leave once more (if they are picked for the next day's stepping party, that is).

Note: update The Ayleid Steps to http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16316 and make sure (with the Cobl options menu) that stepping NPCs are set to essential during their journeys (should be default). In this menu you can stop stepping activity entirely too (and restart it).
IMHO this behavior can make the game quite interesting, even if these NPCs are needed for other quests. Try to chase them. Visit them at night. I may in a future version even have merchants temporarily close their shops for a day off. :evil:

I cannot recommend The Ayleid Steps highly enough. Much like your mod Povuholo, The Ayleid Steps is one of those rare mods that one can experience somewhat gradually over the course of months of play and which can thereby enhance your enjoyment of the game in ways that linear-only quests or dungeons just cannot. Not that there's anything wrong with linear quests, they're just different animals. TAS & KDQ are both things that I would not want to play without. Definitely give it a look.

In the seal 2 quest, I have completed "bluebeard" and have a quest update to go back and talk to Ilplanderin about what Heinz said. When I get back to Ilplanderin there is no dialogue options to talk about this. Is there a way to trigger his dialogue?

Started a new game so I could try out the One Ring quest.

Finished the main quests
Finished the main KDQ quest
Finished the Deadra quests

Have yet to find the rings for the thieves and fighters' guilds. The only clue was at the beginning of the quest, but nothing has come up since.
How do I go hahead with it?
I really need some help with this one.

Also found that Doc's mortar reappeared after I had finished the quest ( had to cheat to continue it)
and that the 5th key to find the sword of Jed... never appeared in the basemant.
When I did the dog bone quest I had to revive the character as she had been killed by the guards. Maybe setting her up as essential would help

but when i came back to marana, there was no dialogue option to talk to her, is there anything i am doing wrong?

I found the guntlets and the helmet thanks, but now 2 more people have
gone missing both in Bruma Gerich Senanel and Hemilis and it was not Thamriel I was looking
it was the woman she sent me to Astinia Atius, I do not understand the resurrection thing either
at least I cannot get it to work. Thes 3 people are probably dead for some reason and no I do
not have the Aylied steps mod so I cannot explain it. Problem is Gerich are important for the main
quest.

He should've greeted you with 'Have you brought me the secret of success in matrimony?' and then a player response should've followed. This response is 'Yes. Mystery' and can be triggered with the following console command:

startconversation player ilp18yes

Are you using V1.06 of the mod? It uses a new method for obtaining the rings, which is checking Saurian Sid's Finger (you should have it in your inventory if you've started The One Ring.). When you 'equip' the finger you examine it for rings, and there'll be a ring on its finger for each quest line you've completed. So you don't actually have to look for any rings. If you are running an older version you may end up with multiple copies of the same ring accidentally, but in the end I've made sure they are all removed.

the most irritating thing is that I was looking for this hobo in Anvil earlier you know he who sleeps in the warehouse, I could not find him but I managed
to resurrect him, but I have forgotten how, damn I knew I should have written it down.

No, Ilplanderin is at his altar/machine. Not Fort Blueblood. Should I do the placeatme command at the Fort?

Edit: I went and looked at Fort Blueblood and there he was, with the correct dialogue. He is in both places at the same time. Weird, but thanks for the heads up about Blueblood! Now I can get on with this fun mod!!!

Ah, now I get it. That's exactly the problem. He shouldn't be at the teleporter and you should be talking to him at Fort Blueblood (which is a cloned version of him with a different ID actually, so the dialogue only shows up there). After each component you meet him at the next colour related dungeon, after having met Ilplanderin the first cave (for the red components) he shouldn't be at his teleporter anymore. I'll make sure he isn't in the next version.

But just curious, what made you look for him back at the teleporter rather than at Fort Blueblood? Perhaps the journal entry was unclear or something... Edit: I remember now, you also meet Ilplanderin at the teleporter again during the Orange quest. I'll make sure the journal entry is clear in saying that he is at Fort Blueblood.

Also, very stupid of me, the placeatpc command is a Morrowind console command. What you need to do is click on your character with the console open and type placeatme and then the rest instead.


V2.0 is going to have a pretty sweet changelog by the looks of it. :P

Download V1.06 (That bug was created in V1.05 accidentally, which I assume you are using. Sorry.) and while in the game use the console command 'setstage povssquestdwarven 83' without the quotation marks. This will trigger the journal entry that will also make the mortar and pestle appear.
