it worked like a charm before today, and yes

worked fine before merging Most of the MMM's you see merged on my list

By the way, there was never a LITE release for OOO 1.34, so the two 1.33 files you have there are unnecessary. Both those functions are included in the FULL version that you are using now.

Check your "\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Pluggy\User Files\XXX's Journal\Journal Books" folder and open the text documents.

Is the text still in those text files? There are backup files as well, so check those.

Did you start a new character with the same name at any point?

there is one .txt, that one has writing

in \My Games\Oblivion\Pluggy\User Files\Journal Books
this one is empty

I reinstalled obse and pluggy after removing them, not the cause, problem persists,
unmerged MMM, not the cause, problem persists
loaded previous save, same problem

three .tct files in the folder you mentioned, all have writing

Do you use a UI mod? Some mods install menus for various things, even if they are not UI reskinners. This is weird...

the darkui by darkbirdy that you suggested, installed the kyoma for darkbirdy over it

Well, that is not the problem then...I do not think Kyoma's mod overlaps with other mods with menu files either. When you deactivated MMM, the form IDs of all of the mods above it changed. Does the mod work if you load a save prior to deactivating (and using pseudo-activation through merging.) Try that out. Is that the only change you have made since it stopped working?

only change, kyoma's menu overrides, but it is loaded last, I didnt deactivate it, originally had a checkmark in front, merged to ++, kyoma stopped working, unmerged MMM from ++ to a check mark again, still not working

and loaded prior save game, same problem

If you cannot save new entries with a prior save, then that change should not be the one that made Kyoma's mod go all disfunctional...Try reinstalling Kyoma's mod on the older save.

did, came up blank... love this mod, dont know what went wrong, may have to restart. will start a new game, see what happens



started new game, works fine. may have corrupted somewhere in the last 3 saves... guess I will have to restart

FormID changes can hurt sometimes, but I am surprised going back to a save before the change was implemented did not work. Try going back to that one again now that the mod is working.

nope, still wont work, on any save game in the last 2 days, it crashed 2 days ago, perhaps the file corrupted, and it saved through each til it busted? dont know, you guys would know if that were possible

I was about to recommend removing the pluggy and OBSE files that are saved with those save, but maybe that would break other things...Try it on one of the saves. Move the Pluggy and OBSE save information files out of the folder temporarily. Maybe they were corrupted somehow. Actually, just move the pluggy file. I am pretty sure they save information with each save...It has been too long since I looked at my Ob setup...

I was not telling you to delete pluggy. Look at the saves in your folder, you will notice that every save is also associated with some other files. For examples:

somesave.ess
somesave.bak
somesave.o ...whatever OBSE's information save is
somesave.p ...whatever Pluggy's information save is

well, uhm, cant trouble shoot it anymore,well you see... I erased all the save game folder and started it back up just fine, so yeah, had to be one of them, but who knows which, if the problem comes up again, I will post it and the files
