Lack of Easter eggs in new vegas

Post » Mon Aug 15, 2011 6:14 pm

I've noticed that there is a lack of Easter eggs in new Vegas when there were alot in fallout 3. Just tryig to bring back the old memories of the Teddy bear and garden gnome war

I don't think it is the lack of Easter Eggs, it is the lack of good ones. Example is the latin words from Monty Python's Life of Brian. I only know that as I looked it up.

But that's a good easter egg  It's only bad if you don't have a good humour

I didn't even think that movie was funny, I thought the Holy Grail was better, as a lot of people do. When I saw it on the wall the dizzy face came up, so I looked it up and found out what it was.

Each to his own. I think both are great since they parody historical events/sagas, but at least Life of Brian doesn't have the awful animations which I know many hate :D

As The Holy Grail's popularity dwarves the Life of Brian, naturally it is either better or funnier.

I did not know that. But I'm not one of those that are obsessd by numbers on IMdB.
It's the same thing as Fallout 3 vs Fallout New Vegas argument.

There is plenty of Easter eggs. Though some are pretty obscure or maybe unintentional. Lots of them from previous games in the series and its spiritual predecessor. OWB adds a lot too.

Those awful animations are supposed to be awful. And, those awful animations make Monty Python. They did it in Flying Circus too. Man, I love me the Monty Python...

Yes, I know x) It's a Monty Python trademark. But... I hate them! I hate them! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ju3h7yk4Hcg) I just love their sketches though! :D

Honestly haha, with that trait you get:

a dead indianna jones in a refrigerator,
an old lady gang that attacks you,
a boy stuck in a well,
a robot canine counsel (OWB),
references to Plan Nine from Outer Space (Considered the worst movie ever made) (OWB)
reference to Red Dawn (the very first pg-13 movie) (OWB)

and that is only a tiny bit of the weird easter eggs in the game.

There's Johnny 5 Aces, the YCS/186, rodents of unusual size in Broc Flower Cave, Owen and Beru, Witch! Witch! and all that jazz. There's quite a bit stuff if you've got the keen eye
