lack of exploration

so has anyone else noticed that there is a major lack of real exploration when it comes to buildings. In fallout 3 there were all the museams and a couple of military bases and alot more in FNV all you have are the two repconn buildings, the sasperilla plant, and the vaults none of which are all that long.

It comes from New Vegas being made to be more like the originals which were focused more on story, characters and dialogue then random exploration.

I agree there but i just recently (last week infact) played both fallout 1 and 2 and i relized that they are both alot shorter then i remember. they do focus alot more on story but there was still exploration involved like the glow and mariposa in fallout 1 and the seria army depot and mariposa(destroyed) in fallout 2

Personally, I explored. I explored through story. The world feels bigger because of the story involved in it. The stories is why I explore and journey. I do not like bone dry exploration like *coughskyrimcough*
