Lack of Feline Nuptials

No, I'm not going to rant or flame because there are no eligible Khajiits for marriage in Skyrim. I'm playing as a Khajiit and wanted to marry one, but I'm okay with the fact that I can't. Well, mostly.

I was searching for something unrelated on UESP and came across this:

"It is currently unclear whether a successful union between Khajiit and other races may occur, for no well-documented cases exist despite rumors. The divergent appearance and mannerisms of the Khajiit often lead bigoted members of other races to look down on them."

Coupled with the fact that the Khajiiti themselves acknowledge that they're not allowed into the cities, hence their Caravans, I'm thinking that it was a lore-based decision. If that is indeed the case, I'm still bummed but I can live with it, since I do love me some lore.

But it makes me wonder...I can't marry a Khajiit in Skyrim, but I'm a Khajiit and someone can marry...me??

So what race are you, and what race did you marry? Did race play any part in the decision, for Roleplay or lore purposes?

I'm a Breton who married an Orc: Borgakh the Steel Heart.

It was because I found that she was excellent in a fight, as Orcs are wont to be. She conquered my heart and I gave her an ebony mace.

I love how her most frequently used phrase after a battle is: "My blood's calm. I prefer it boiling."

I married Shahvee with my Imperial character.

RPwise, he chose her because in the Legion he commanded a predominantly Argonian auxiliary unit during the border conflicts following the Great War. He became a bit fond of the Saxhleel after that.

I'm thinking that it was a lore-based decision.

I highly doubt it was a lore-based decision, as lore has never stopped them from implementing things that don't belong before.

Wait, so you're a Khajiit and you are allowed in the cities? Next you're going to be telling me they let you buy houses too. Pssh

Well if a Khajiit male manages to marry a female of any other race I feel bad for her. Or she's a masochist and enjoys pain in her naughty bits seeing a Khajiit *you know what* are barbed like some kind of abominal sword... or spear as it were :P

Makes you wonder why their parts are like that. Are Khajiit women so wild they buck their partners off?
