Lack of Robot Voices in Automatron

Post » Fri Mar 25, 2016 5:11 am

I recently just noticed this but... Does anybody else notice the voices you can use for your robots to be quite lacking? I mean, for the main robots. We have the Assaultron and Sentry voices but we're missing the Protectron, Mr. Handy, Mr. Gutsy, and Robobrain voices as well... (Seriously, can you imagine a giant Sentry bot with a Mr. Handy voice XD)!

I mean, it wouldn't really be too hard to have said voices anyways, so I expect a mod to do this for sure if Bethesda doesn't do this in DLC-patch (assuming, DLC-patching is a possible thing that is).

I thought that someone should point this out in it's own respective thread as it something that I feel that Bethesda must've missed on accident honestly. (Like the lack of Eyebot companions).

Yea. I thought there are human voice. But the voice will be in Ada's style.

Kinda disappointed for this one.

More voices would have been nice, but the ability to choose a voice at all is new to the game, so I'm happy.

I did not expect that we could even choose voices so I'm fine.

If I could I would give them the voices of Morgan Freeman, Mr. House, and Soup can Harry.

I'm sure there will be many voice mods soon from people harvesting clips of famous people. I just hope at least some of them make it to console.

Personal wish list:

-Morgan Freeman (soothing AND authoritative)

-Peter Griffin (I'd settle for just the laugh)

-Arnold Schwarzenegger (bonus if someone can convincingly dub "Get to da vertibird!!")

-Sean Connery

-Steve Buscemi (it'd get old eventualy, but funny for a while)

I have to agree. Despite how much variety the robot customization has to offer, its odd Bethesda seemed to have missed the most obvious additions that should have been made. But who knows, there may have been some trouble implementing the ability to convert a robot into a eyebot considering in order for you to create an automatron, there needs to be a framework of parts. And with an eyebot, well, the necessary parts are quite limited.

And perhaps they were not able to get all of the voice actors back to do the robot voices.
