Dear Furies.

Its really really cold in Skyrim.

Desert Cats would not exactly want to live there.

Ha ha, I think I know that one. His tail is like dancing in the wind.

That's the one.

I'm surprised there are any Argonians at all in Skyrim since they are reptilian and come from a hot swamp area. Does lore say whether they are warm or cold blooded? At least the Khajiit have fur.

I also agree that the numbers make sense.

I live in North Dakota, and grew up around very outdoor cats.

Household cats are descendants of desert creatures (their internal body temperature is something like 101 degrees F normally) -- but they do just fine in the -40 degrees winter weather we get up here.

Creatures are surprisingly adaptable.

But yes, it makes sense there aren't many khajiit in Skyrim. That doesn't bother me really. I was thrilled when I saw the first Khajiit caravan. :)

Really that is what bothers you? That makes some sense at least, there should be more though. Where are all the other race's children in the game? I would think the Dunmer in the gray quarter would have some at the very least. Do not tack things on plz bethesda. Do it properly or ignore it if you can. Also there are two faces for all the human children throughout the game that have zero personality other than an eff you old man persona. How is a kid that brave in the face of a fully equipped Dunmer in Dragon Armor with two dead thralls behind him?

Character recognition is a joke lol.

Two faces? More like 1 face.

I'm an evolutionary biologist by training. Cats can live in just about all climates, from snow to desert. Thats genetic adaptability, but not the SAME cats.

The Kajiits in game even complain about the cold. Their homeland is a desert. They would not want to live in Skyrim.

And Argonians are warm-blooded.

It's not the lack that bothers me, it's the total absence of Khajiit in the major cities. Yeah, they're not allowed, but why couldn't there be a Khajiit in the thieves guild?

The Argonians were meaner to me in the game and they get to live in the cities.

Yeah thats what i thought too! Theres no Khajiit in the thieves guild or dark brotherhood but theres a khajiit in the college of winterhold? Thats pretty strange

No, I just think they don't play a big enough role in the game.

Cheers

The Thieves Guild really needs more Khajiit and Argonians.

I think the numbers are right and consistent with the lore. But I also hate Kajiits anyway, so I'm biased.

Yup, even the civil war quest does nothing to the world.

This doesn't change the fact that the vast majority of the quests in the game do **** all to affect the game world. You're lucky to get NPCs to even acknowledge you did anything at all half the time.
