A Lack of Split-Screen

Yea. You can run it pretty good. But the first thing you should upgrade is your GFX. If you are considering it. Remember, save up for a few months. Maybe even half a year.

I am only on a 220 W PSU though, though the online specs said it was at 82% efficency? Not sure if I can handle a more powerful graphics card.

Now logically can someone tell me why I can't at least play an offline game with my buddy on my couch?

Because you'd be [censored]ing about how the game looks while in splitscreen-mode, then. ;)

Games upgrade thier material and graphics all the time. A console's capabilites stay the same. Once you hit the spot where you simply can't upgrade the game due to the console holding it back, it's not the developer's fault for making bad stuff, its the console's fault for holding them back.

And that spot was reached about a year or two ago already.

I am on a 64 bit Windows 7 OS, yes and I guess the main question I would have would I get more of an experience using the PC game or the console game? Is Medium/High on the computer comparable to the console version of the game?

Just trying to get the best bang for my buck.

Playing games on a 600€ PC from 2009 will allow you to get more out of the graphics than on a console.

On 1280x720 (which is just a bit over console resolution) you'd be able to activate Anisotrophic Filtering (4x-16x) and perhaps Anti-Aliasing (2x, 4x) plus better textures and an overall sharper image.

Then put it in and state that when you go into that mode. Sort of like the "Not responsible for online interactions."

I think it's that people atleast want the option for that, even if it came down to a lesser quality picture. Which most would not even see, care, or complain about. It's the 20 people that are sooooooo cut and dry about something on a forum that ruin it for others I guess.

Yes they can. As long as they stagger their purchases. Dont go out and blow 1k on computer parts. Buy a modest PC with a body that allows for upgrades. Then over the next five years grow your PC. 1000 dollars over 5 years isnt actually that much. And remember, patience is a virtue.

That would be a fair argument but then again five years later there's gonna be a whole bunch of new operating systems and graphics cards and what have you, and new games that are dependent on those operating systems, so on so forth..
