I want the next update to be "The World of Skyrim". Please, I just want to see what it looks like and/or acomplete map with proper location names.

The music is great, I think its awsome that they kept Soule as well. When you hear his music you just think elder scrolls and I'm glad it'll be that way for Skyrim.

Would it be too bad to release a 2 min, in game video?

I mean, it sounds like the world is almost complete and they are tweaking things. I am sure they are going to have it playable at E3 this year.


Did they already confirm there would be no video released as part of the Hub updates?

Yes. No gameplay on the hub is confirmed. I think e3 is going to be the big reveal as far as video goes. If they give us video on top of screens and info now it could steal some of the thunder from a big e3 reveal.

There will not be any gameplay videos on the hub. We already know that.
I hope there will be at least one screenshot.

Maybe both. Aren't there supposed to be two major gaming expo's in february and march?

Which means by the end of April we'll definitely see gameplay, since E3 is June/July, and the next month with an 'r' after April is September.

Well GDC starts february 28 the last day of the month and ends march 3. Then PAX East takes place march 11-13. So I wouldn't expect anything until march.

Who knows, maybe Bethesda will open GDC? But your right, odds are we will have to wait until march

Did anyone notice in the Technology Behind Skyrim it seemed to be paraphrasing some text from the magazine like where it talked about how if you dropped something two guys could fight over it. Well, it seems like instead of saying 'young boy' this time they replaced it with "someone." Here's the text:

"If you drop a sword in the middle of town, someone may pick it up and return it to you, or two guys may get into a fight over who gets to take it."

I don't know if their altering of it to a "someone" means anything, such as that they accidentally said 'young boy' in the magazine because it looked like one when they watched the gameplay but they were wrong, or that children have now been removed. Or Bethesda told them not to say 'child' for some reason.

People are making too much of this "Month with an R" silliness. It's just that it's entirely possible he was just being a [censored] ("Lol, a lot of months have the letter 'R' in it, I'll just say that it's in one of those so I don't release any real info concerning the matter"). I mean, yeah, it's all we have to go on, but I wouldn't be confident. I also wouldn't assume that just because it DOES happen in a month with an R in it, that it wasn't just a coincidence.

I doubt Skyrim would make an appearance at GDC. It's mostly about what's new and what are developers up to in the gaming world. It's more about conferences and for developers to get together more than anything else. Not really a place to show off a game. It could be at PAX East, but again Skyrim would get limited commercial coverage (as recording isn't allowed because they want people to come), and I doubt they would release a demo to play. E3 makes the most sense for a reveal about actual game play. It is the biggest video convention in the world after all, and that's when all the big players get together to show off their new games and technology.

There's always a lot of interesting new features, game play mechanics and ideas from upcoming titles at GDC. It would be a good place to show off radiant story for example.

Well I just send Andrew a tweet asking about an estimate of when the next Skyrim update will be. Hopefully he responds.
