Lag, Lag, N More Lag

Honestly, I like the game. It's kinda fun and different. Frustrating as hell at times but something oddly brings be back for more. I downloaded another mystery patch yesterday 3m. I had high hopes that it would address the terrible..and I mean terrible lag in the co-op. The lag issue is so bad at times you just have to back out of the game totally. By no means am I trolling or down talking the game folks. I'm simply stating that if you want a future for this title then ya better get busy on the playability issues. Otherwise I can see Brink being a short lived great idea that just didn't cut the mustard.

Please fix it....ya got a winner but its infested with roaches.

I had no lag in a co-op campaign match but there jumpy unplayable lag occurred like half the time when I tried a freeplay map.

I'm glad someone is having success with the lag. I have a very strong net connection so I can't really blame it on that. I remember Battlefield Bad Co 2 had these kinds of issues on xbox live when they first launched last year. Took them a while to get things right so hopefully these folks will do the same. I'd have to say that GOW3 beta has been the biggest surprise for me since I started gaming. Even at a beta stage the game runs smooth and flawless. Maybe its the dedicated server thing...I dunno. But, then ya look at Homefront which launched dedicated servers. That was a total mess and they are probably still patching the game. Oh well, I can only hope things get better for Brink. Otherwise its going to be sold.

There are a lot of people out their who "claim" to experience no lag on Freeplay Online Multiplayer. None of them are on my friends list though so I don't know if I can trust them. Everyone who plays Brink on my friends list, about 20 people, said it lags online to the point where it's unplayable. Same for me. Sounds like it's the same for thousands of others when reading through forums. I'm glad it's working for some (or is it?) but if they want to keep the bulk of the players on the game they need to fix the online lag issues. I already see too many people looking to sell the game and those who waited to buy it have decided not to. It's sad to see so many have little faith but I can't really blame them at this point. The game has potential but that potential may never come.
