I haven't noticed any lag at all.

I've noticed it big time. I got plugged with two pistol shots in the chest and went down while unloading an entire scar clip into the other guy. Almost every game I've played has had everyone rocking 2 bars or less.

Me too with the sniper rifle....i shot 3 time in head and he doesnt die.....****!

Just played Crash Site with a One Bar... perfectly fine. It was like I had a three bar connection in a Call of Duty game. It svcks that you guy are having such a hard time

This is absolutely not anything to do with the internet providers and if Crytek give this excuse for not putting dedicated servers I will personally march into their offices go up to the guy responsible for this shoddy decision and throw my copy of crysis on his desk and make him eat a print out of my internet bandwith test and proof it is only this game that lags.

You may not feel the lag as it doesnt ping around. It is delay based lag, you can tell on the kill cam when someone puts tracer on that you are shooting way to the left or right of where they actually are. I will put any other game in and it is on full bar.

I have rarely seen games update their net code though so I highly doubt Crytek will do anything. My copy will be in pre owned inside a week along with many others if we dont even hear anything for Xbox.

2K updated Bioshock. If you think this game was bad at lauch (I've never had any connection issues) then go and play Bioshock 2 when it first came out.... it made any games connections look AMAZING.

i played a game today that was absolutely shocking. the host had full bars and everyone else had 1 bar. now when i played the beta, approx 2 melee hits would kill a player. well in this game i chased a guy cloaked. tried assassinating him. what happened then was the game made me follow right behind him, around corners and stuff without me doing anything. then after doing nothing to him i got control back then proceeded to melee him 5 times before the first 2 actually killed him. at least 2 seconds of lag. and i have a good provider

There is a terrible half assed mentality with games companies now that if the game isn't perfect by launch they can fix it with some updates later down the line. This kind of thing is a very negative way to be when it comes to making quality games.

I am more annoyed at the fact that for me this game will never be played to its full potential. Now i don't have great broadband but why should that factor into it. I mean c'mon even Homefront plays better than this game for me and that is a bad game. I am not quite at the point of giving up on this game yet as i'm hoping this issue can be resolved if.

I did play it at launch and it was still better than this.

I have tried to ignore your comments about having never had connection issues (which you keep posting about all over the forum) but I dont know what kind of lag youre looking for. Im not talking the ping pong lag. Im talking guys running past me and mashing melee a whole load of times when Im not on their screen and killing me or shooting to the left by 3 feet when on my screen its dead on their head. Its delay lag not ping pong. Lucky you if youve not had it, you must have been lucky and got host or something but this game is the worst connection I have ever played. If you havnt just been lucky then they say "love is blind" and you probably want this game to be so good that you believe it is.

There are far more people having connection issues than just you so please stop trying to make out that this game is perfect. Its far from it and the developers dont need to know that 1 guy in 1000 hasnt had a problem. Crytek need to know their product is not up to standard so they can fix the thing. I want to trade it in but theres nothing worth buying coming out until Mortal Kombat in 3 weeks.

Apologies if this sounds like a rash response aimed at you (im trying not to) but Crytek need to know when their product isnt working so they can fix it. I love the concept and graphics of the game but the MP is shockingly bad, plus no recoil?!! Its terrible lag and spray and pray gameplay needs fixing. If they think its fine they wont do anything about it and the thousands of people having problems will leave and the game will die. It will be you and 1 other guy on and I dont want that. I want this game to succeed because the graphics and the mechanics have so much potential but at the moment it isnt.

Lets just get the game out the door and worry about the problems later with a patch and this is why so many games are ruined on release. Back in the days where there were no console patches developers prided themselves on making games great on launch day now they slap out some half finished game us fools lap it up and then deal with the problems through gritted teeth.

Ha well Im not sure about CoD killer but certainly the structure and mechanics of the game had the potential to smash Halo Reach into the ground, the sci fi FPS crown is now sure to fall into Brinks hands. The guys on Brink must be loving that EA tried to rush this game out before Brink released. Battlefield 3 is the CoD killer we are all waiting for. I hear it as 12 hour co op campaign and the destruction and graphics look even better than Crysis. I cant wait for that. Plus it will have dedicated servers, I'll be collecting my pension by the time I finish playing BF3 for sure.

yea, i lag really bad some times i can shot a 5 burst of the grendal in some one in they just act like superman in kill me but if u find a good host wich today, in last night sence patch seems imposable for me.

This happens in every fps except for battlefield. COD black ops was the same way for me so I sold the pos and moved on. The only thing redeeming this game for me is the single player which is awesome.
