Lakes!

Would you like lakes in Skyrim? And if so how big would you like them to be, and how would you like them represented. Mention other things like creatures you would like in lakes, around lakes, etc...

I want lakes. The lakes should be organic shaped and filled with water and fish. They should be surrounded by earth and vegetation.

Certainly. And hopefully the map will be bigger enough than Oblivion's that the lakes could even be lake-sized.

Moors/swamps with underground water-filled caverns to explore! Near Morrowind side that is.

Lakes should be decently sized, with plenty of vegetation at the bed of each, and small fish and other critters swimming around in them. I also like having small loot and such at the bottom and hidden among rocks in lakes. Gives me incentive for wanting to swim around in them, and for learning water-breathing spells/enchantments. And I love lakes at the bases of waterfalls. Relaxing and nice to see in the wild.

I also prefer mostly clear lakes. Murky water creeps me out.

Ice covered, with some weak spots that you'd fall through. Make getting out nigh impossible via the slippery ice or even trying to find the hole again. Water should be COLD, so besides water breathing, you need a heat source. And a penalty once you're out due to being wet in freezing temps. Also, how about some cracking or ice-making sounds (if you haven't heard either...it's freaky, yet cool), and some snow discoloration for slushy or weak spots.

Other than that...um..it's stinkin' lake for Pete's sake

Hows about a predator of the lake that isn't a mudcrab or a slaughterfish this time?

Lakes are nice. But what we really need are waterfalls. Really big ones.

Yes Sir/Madame (from your name I would guess Madame, but you can never be certain). We need long, complex rivers with waterfalls and all kinds of wildlife swimming around in it. I just realized that fishing might also be a nice little feature, but that's a bit off topic. Well, this entire post is, come to think about it...

So, anyway: yes to lakes. Better ones than in Oblivion (the one that was there).

it would be also nice to see some fjords and gletchers in far northern snowy areas,
although i would like skyrim more of a mountains and forests region over north pole look(like solstheim)
