I'll second that. I may have to boost my Agility by 2 so I can take a few ranks in the Sneak perk and not have to worry about getting myself blown up or shot.

Can we disable/disarm the land mines like in previous Fallouts? And if so, how? I found one using VATS last night, but when I tried to slowly get close to it with my pointer hovering over it (outside of VATS), hoping for the "disarm" option, it just exploded. Did I do it wrong?

As you approach it, it'll turn red (I think) and start beeping faster... you can't creeeep up on it, you have to RUN up to it (without actually stepping on it) and spam your Activate button to disarm it quickly, before it goes off. Of course with Sneak, I rarely notice land mines any more unless I hit VATS and realize I'm in the middle of a mine field.

Unless I have a companion with me --- it sure SEEMS like they trip mines that don't affect me.

Funny the dog can disarm landmines...of course you'd have to locate them first..

Trick is don't rush run , save ap , soon as u hear that beeping TAP RUSH AND RUN LIKE FCUK in any direction.......... I can't be bothered with tapping vats ,
