I am stuck in the first bomb area and can't get out.

You point it at the bomb, shaped like pellets for an air gun but like 10 feet tall , usually stuck in rocks, and the hold the trigger button and keep it sighted on the bomb till it explodes, oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, nevermind you have to deal with ulysses , how ever you please, and there is a console like the 1 with the red lever, actually same thing
