laser+hipfire = faster movement, but why?

Post » Thu Jun 27, 2013 6:57 pm

firstly i hate laser+hipfire users in c3 mp cos they move faster than me since i always use reflex+ads in c2/c3 mp when i attack.

i actually got used to using reflex+ads thanks to ~54k kills in c2 mp, cos i never used ads on other shooter games like quake or unreal tournament.
n i've killed another ~35k using reflex+ads in c3 mp so far.

anyway, my question = would laser+hipfire move faster than reflex+ads in real life?
cos i don't think u'll move any faster.. n if im right, faster movement in hipfire = some video game bs? :(

lol, but never mentioned scar :)

i hate scar+laser but also had trouble against feline+laser n fy71m+laser when i used scar+reflex, n this was before the patch g scar nerf.

i thought newer shooter games like crysis introduced things like recoil to make the game more realistic cos i don't think quake or ut weapons had any recoil, etc..
but faster movement speed in hipfire over ads is not realistic at all, n doesn't balance the game cos clearly laser+hipfire > reflex+ads :(

This isn't C2 MP, you need to change your ways and adapt. Attachments are no longer optional, they are clear-cut performance boosts. There is no reason not to use laser on any gun which has the laser option, especially if we're talking full-auto weapons.

I can't think of any reason why you would ADS in close quarters, this is very much a close quarters game...you're only gimping yourself.

After Patch G there is even less of a reason to use reflex/assault scopes because every full-auto gun has become very difficult to use at mid-long range effectively (which is good, gives Grendel/Takedown/DSG/Gauss an actual use). So strap on a laser and go nuts.

Better your game by skill, not attachments. Playing without 'help' is the best way to get better.

Might as well stop using guns altogether and modules as well, "better your game by skill" to that.

It's silly to not use an advantage the game hands you (Auto Armor doesn't count because it is plain broken) especially considering that after Patch G using an assault rifle without attachments is like controlling a flailing garden hose.

Hope you get my point.
