Topic explains it all, the two main energy weapons which one do you prefer? Explain why.
Me myself I pick Laser, IMO they sound cooler, look cooler, ammo is easier to find, also cheaper to keep stocked, and the Laser Gatling who doesn't love it?

Plasma for close quarters and laser for mid-long range.
Although I would think Gauss is a ballistic weapon, it is definitely the king of long range.
I voted Undecided, as I'm not totally happy with either.
Laser seems to lack a certain punch compared to ballistic or plasma. On the other hand, plasma's 'slow' projectiles make for lousy long-range performance, and they seem to snag on intervening terrain more than other weapons' shots.
I'm a ballistic man. I have one of each but I rarely use them and when I do it is because I don't want to use up bullets. If I had to pick one than it would be a laser because of the sound.
No don't care option? I'll have to vote undecided then. I'm all for ballistics
I LOVE the energy weapons, but am undecided since I really haven't tested out the Plasma weapons yet.
Have an laser who do more damage than an .50 so don't agree might lack the stagger effect from balistic. Agree on plasma.
Plasma riffle because of the superior critical damage. [Photon agitator x4, Lucky x2, Better Criticals perk x2.5] - x8.5 total multiplier.
Picked undecided, because I mostly use ballistic, and I've yet to use plasma at all. I carried an Institute pistol after Arcjet, since it handed me so much laser ammo & it was early in the game/was low on other ammos. I've carried Righteous Authority since I put the Institute gun away, to have an energy weapon, but I don't use it much. I've only found like 4 plasma guns so far, so not much ammo or opportunity to try them yet.
Team laser mainly because you dont have to shoot ahead of the enemy with them. its not really that big of a deal but it is my deciding factor in this close comparison
