The Scar is already a powerful AR (best in crysis series), there is no need to remove it or nerf it. The problem is laser, because if you are shooting from hip with laser and your opponent is using ADS your target becomes very easy cause he is moving slower then you (everyone knows this)... What I feel is that when using laser the amount of bullet spread is lesser then firing without laser (almost zero).. That's why I hate people using laser attachment..
Let′s get some **** clear, shall we?
1o The real hipfire cone of the game is much smaller than the giantic crosshair the screen shows.
2o The SCAR wtihout laser kills enemies at 13m with 3 bursts.
3o The laser was nerfed so many times that it WORSE than hipfire now.
4o When you jump, the laser goes off the center, that means with power jumps the laser is USELESS.
5o The laser is a **** C-O-R-E M-E-C-H-A-N-I-C of the series that was designed to increase the pace of the gameplay and make it more Quake-like.
6o In the Alpha/Beta, before all the nerfs the game was BALANCED around the laser. You know why the game needed so many gun balances afterwards? Yes, because YOU people asked for nerf the laser again and again and again and finally it got FOUR NERFS.
And gee, I wonder what people wanted laser nerfs? Oh, that′s right, the players from C2 where the laser was underused (EDIT: because it was extremly bugged) and......... what was that game called again where players move at 1km/h, the hipfire is useless and the entire gameplay is about shooting from cover while ADSing?
Not a single Crysis (by MUCH far the highest skill based game and with the highest skill ceilling in the series) veteran would ever ask for a laser nerf. No a single person who likes fast, high skilled games like Quake ask-
Waaaaaaait a minute, that just reminded me something. Weren′t there 2 things a lot of people was complaining about since the beta that worked much, much, much better with the laser? Maneuveravility (higher move speed) and Bunnyhopping?
Yeah, Maneuv. and bunnyhopping. How funny it is that all the most exciting games ever made and with the highest skill ceillings like Quake, UT, RoTT, DN3D or Painkiller, ALL of them have bunny hopping, high speed movement and 100% accurate hipfire as core mechanics!!!!
Today′s games removed those high skill meachnics for the sake of realism lowering the skill ceilling as a side effect and you still have the balls to look down on them and ask on purpose for them to be removed.
So for you all who are crying all day about the "noob no skill laser" I have just one thing to tell you:
While you were playing spunkgargleweewees like CoD, BF and GoW I was playing real shooters with about 20 times the skill ceilling and at least 7 times faster runspeed. So go back to svck on wiimotes because I′m about to have some real fun while rocket jumping, bunnyhopping, circle straffing and excitement trying to survive looking for meds with 10HP left.
