Last Elder Scrolls game?

Post » Thu Dec 08, 2011 11:05 am

Could this be the last Elder scrolls game? Bethesda have added everything the fans could have possible asked for; Werewolves, all 16 daedra princes, companions, marriages etc. Usually game developers leave a feature or two out of a game series so they have something to add to their next game such as Oblivion had no werewolves.

Yes possibly, but what else could they add to the next Elder scrolls game? Skyrim has everything.

Just because Bethesda is trying to make the game as good as possible doesn't mean that there's not going to be a next one. Sorry, but your logic makes no sense.

TES will continue as long as the money rolls it. Just look at Halo.

Skyrim has everything.

Blatant falsehood is false.
I could compile a list, but it would take all day.

Lol, the OP statement has double meaning. It could apply to both happy and dissatisfied customers.

This game series is to much of a cash cow to quit making new ones. There is lots of stuff left out of this game that I'm sure they wanted to put in. The reason those items are not in are because they could not get them to work right or there was not enough room. Take Bungie for example. The first Halo game was going to have wildlife. They did not add wildlife until Reach because they could not get it to work the way they wanted and have other cool features they wanted.

Skrim does not have the following:

balance
an arena type thing or fighting tournament (youd think nords would have something like that)
an adoring fan to knock off high places

You know there is something caleld a plot in this game, right?

A friend and I got talking about this, actually. We theorize that witht he first four games taking place in the Third Era had one grand Story arc leading to it's end, and now we're in the Fourth Era, with the start of a new Story arc with the Aldmeri Dominion.

Given that the Aldmeri Dominion tricked two other nations into joining them, I wouldn't be suprised if the next few games go into detail of Valenwood and Elsweyr throwing off Aldmeri Influence and taking them to task.

...well, at least I hope so. Seeing Khajiit ally themselves with High elves with a case of Megalomania crushes my soul.

Balance is something they left out.

Bethesda Game.

This.

I wouldn't be surprised if they already have plans for the next game.

Bethesda could remove heavy level scaling so that the game would be actually fun.

A games company, like any other company is there to make money.

The Elder Scrolls makes money. A lot of it. :D
They won't stop until there isn't a market for TES anymore.

I'm hoping that when I'm locked away in a sad, demented retirement facility, Beth will still be making games that make me feel ALIVE.

If they made another Elder Scrolls, other than an MMO, they would need to make a new Elder Scroll Prophecy.

Skyrim is technically the last part of the oldest and most significant prophecy foretold by the Elder Scrolls.

complex and long storylines all around the world,
influences and consequences made by our character that shape the world

that's what would I ask for TES VI, as long as it has it, I wouldn't even care playing on the same engine and graphics.

They still have a whole lot of lore on the Dwemer to exploit. They could make a game about them.

And then there's the Thalmor,too.

Elsweyr, Black Marsh, they're both unique provinces. A game situated in either of them would be great.

If anything, I think Black Marsh is a safe bet. If they happen to want to get back to the "alien" feel of Morrowind the Marsh is supposedly even weirder than Morrowind.

There's also Akavir, a whole new CONTINENT of possibilities. The Nerevarine's supposed to be there now.

That was 200 years ago.

Unless the Nerevarine is an Elf, they'd be dead by then. Unless Their Corprus Disease slowed their aging.
