Late to the Party: Spore

Ok so I know i am beating a 6 year old dead horse, but I only just got the game about 1 week ago, and i am addicted. I do have a question though, a few really, first, have you guys who have played spore ever thought to go back and try the creators to see how you fare later in years? If so, i would bee glad for any pics of what you make.

Also, i would like advise, i have 10 star systems, 14 planets, and 7 million spore bucks, was it a bad idea to take on the Grox? I have already taken out approximately 11 planets of theirs.

Last question, does anything you put on your spaceship actually matter statistically, or could you litterally just put a base down and use it like any other ship?

If you want to reach the center of the galaxy, you'll pretty much have to carve a path through the Grox.

As for your spaceship...no nothing you put on it matters statistically. It's all about just making something that looks cool. So yes, you could just make a big square and stick with that, if you feel so lazy and/or inclined.

No, i love intricate building, i was just asking for the sake of finality really, also good to know i dont need to spend the extra complexity on a rocket and laser.

I remember when playing I didn't even fight the robot guys at the center of the galaxy, I just ran through.
