Latest Patch Notes

We're all very frustrated with the game. we paid € 70 and the game is the online super LAG! anything resolved with this patch. we have to wait another 2 / 3 more weeks to leave a patch. and still will not solve the lag, this is guaranteed. for at least part of the team we hoped they would say that the LAG would be finally resolved ... but it seems the lag is already in the game itself ....

I have tried for over a week to like this game. Installed the patch, in hopes that one more try would help me see what all of the reviewers have apparently seen. Either I am blind, or they need glasses. Sorry fellas, this one is getting traded in.

What about the stats reset when you reboot the nanosuit? Or is it supposed to be that way? If it is supposed to be that way then it's retarded l0l, now who would want to reboot their suit if their hard-earned stats get wiped just like that.

Glad to see the 'NEW' stars going now when you view them. leveled up from 20 to 21 before and it said a new Dog Tag was available but when I went to get it there was no unlock!


Strike that, dog tag stars won't go away for me.

After a match has finished and the scores get added to the modules the number it counts up is far greater than what I received but then corrects itself. Also the bars showing your progress on the modules are not showing.

I walked up behind a sniper who was stationary, crouching, scoped in and oblivious to my presence... 6 armoured punches to the head later, he turns around and kills me with one shot.

When is that going to get patched?

Or how about the guy who's head I unloaded a clip into only for him to turn around and kill me with one punch? Patch for that please?

Every single match without fail. It really is an uphill struggle against lag. It's like trying to chase someone through a wind tunnel, except he's not effected by the wind. The people I'm playing all seem to be in the same country as me as well so it's not like there should be massive ping problems.

I didn't think it could get any worse than the lag in Black Ops.. but Crytek have some how achieved it.

I really hate having to whine and complain because I love the single player.. but they shouldn't include MP if it isn't going to work... surely that's just wasted space on the disc?

Texture loading is happening every time I spawn. I'm pretty sure it didn't do that before the patch, only at the beginning of match.

I've noticed that but I can't remember if it always did that. Either way, it looks a bit **** IMO. What also looks **** is the way objects pop in and out of view when you toggle aiming down the sights.

Another thing I've noticed is that at the end of the match it seems to freeze up before the experience/match stats (not the score leaderboad) are shown. First I get a black screen for about 3-4 seconds and then it takes another 2-3 seconds or so to bring up the match stats. It keeps worrying me as I think my PS3 has died, especially when it's stuck on that black screen.

I'd only really ever noticed popping like that in Homefront, but I just chalked that up to the fact HF has poor graphics... I was surprised to see it in a game that boasts about it's visuals. Same goes for the texture loading. I see them as equally disheartening. Obviously not game breaking, but definitely off putting.

As for end of match freezes, I get that too... and like you, I always think it's the game crashing.

STFU??? Sorry guys i find it a little hard to accept paying $70+ for a game and not being able to play the MP portion of the game (the main reason 90% of us bought this game) as advertised. We got shafted with a **** demo then when the game releases we wait 2 weeks for a patch that does nothing really to address the poor matchmaking/host selection system or lag or FPS or.... the list goes on.

The patch didn't seem to have any positive effect for what was listed on my play-through. Unfortunately, I now have the added side effect of losing connection to MP after it slowly connects to a match and I can't cancel at that time. Then as the textures slowly drop in and I have a choice to leave, it still won't let me leave until the game disconnects me from multiplayer altogether. Finally, I have had 4 freezes requiring 3 hard reboots to clear.
I feel like this patch wasn't well thought out. I would gladly have waited another week or so to get the greater issues addressed like matchmaking and server integrity. So far as the music/double tracks, the music can be turned off by the user. I am very disappointed. It's hard to get my friends to play MP with me on this game. We are all rank 50 on Battlefield BC2 and mid-level ranked on KZ3. Many are going back to Battlefield.

NEW BUGS AFTER 1.02

- Connectivity is horrible - on at least 50 percent of all games, you get stuck in the lobby and the game just stays at " Match starts in 1 or Match starting... " Before the patch, it maybe happened on about 10% of all games.

- One Hit kills have become more frequent. On Killcam, i see that i take some shots, but in game, only one hit registers and i'm dead. No time to react or anything. This was in before, but not so frequent.

- Connectivity Issues have even become more apparent in the pre-game lobby. Way more error messages stating " Connection to host lost " etc. Worked better before the patch.

- Sometimes when in-game, you can't fire your weapon or do anything to kill the opponent. You can cloak, put armor on etc. but you can't fire your weapon or melee. The only way to get out of this misery is either dying or stealth killing an enemy, after that weapons will work again.

There are a lot more little bugs that only occur here and there but i don't get paid for beeing a beta tester.

Overall, the patch made it worse than before.

the AI still doesnt show a significant changes yet after the latest patch,.still found enemy soldiers doing weird stuff,.stood still without do anything while i crouch in front of his d**k,.giving me quite a laugh before i finally killed him with a shotgun in the head,.must say there are still plenty of cute AI soldier guarding their posts in the Crysis 2 universe (ps3 version)..hope crytek will fix this n providing us more clever Ai in the future patch..we accept challenge !!!

lag, matchmaking, the music audio levels are too high in-lobby and better host migration and consistency.

Ai is joke in game it's either clairvoyant or retarded for most part, but sometimes it's smart.
My fave spazzy moments are a soldier bobbing up and down for no reason and shooting one in face from 5 yards after he attacked me and he walks away and crouches near a box still exposed to me, and although technically not a spazzy moment, it still amused me, when there were two dead soldiers standing frozen and another one floating in mid air waiting to be shot.

I love the patch I think that they did a good job.. although one thing that I dont think that I have seen yet is that sometimes when I switch from full-auto to semi-auto I am unable to fire my gun or aim down the sights.. very annoying.. it has killed me a few times

we have a lot of issues.. what might help is for US "the community" to start PRIORITIZING these issues with... I'm going out on a limb right here LAG BEING #1

ALL THESE ISSUES.. Everyday it's something new and if they just keep getting all these new bugs to fix, they will do just that. Try and fix all the bugs. Now if we PRIORITIZE our issues then feed that information to the MODS combing the boards.. Just seems more effective to me.
