Laughter tracks and other "audience" reactions could be the next step in the evolution of video games.
Some of you may have been confused by certain choices you've made in games. Are you a good guy, or a villain? Let the audience decide for you!
Have you ever embarassed yourself by laughing during a movie, when you're not supposed to? Was that one line just meaningless dialogue, or was it in fact a hilarious joke? Quit wondering and join the laughter already!
One scene from Skyrim greatly enhanced:
Aela: Here, let's have Farkas show you where you'll be resting your head.
Skjor: Farkas!
Farkas: Did you call me?
[cheering and clapping]
Aela: Of course we did, icebrain.
[laughter]
Aela: Show this new blood where the rest of the whelps sleep.
Farkas: New blood? Oh, I remember you. Come on, follow me.
Farkas: Skjor and Aela like to tease me, but they're good people. They challenge us to be our best. Nice to have a new face around. It gets boring here some times. I hope we keep you. This can be a rough life.
[aww!]
