There is an update to the launcher I noticed.

Seem there will be an American and an European BETA upcoming, splitting the two servers.

You can update and install already now. It is a 21gb big file so it is probably best to update on beforehand

My folder is 29.4gb

I can't tell what the launcher update did.

What makes you think it signals an incoming beta?

Have you even started the launcher and updated the game? you have to click on it on the top left of the launcher. Your folder might aswell be 30 gb after you updated it is just the update that is 21gb large and will download it to update, then I don't know if it overwrite, bcs I am currently downloading.

Also I am 95% certain cause it says "EU Beta" in particular.

I do not know if the following really works, but my launcher did not complain: Start downloading, then cancel and copy the content of your old folder over to the new one. Then the launcher downloads a couple of MBs, but you save yourself the 29Gig download.

I don't understand, are you trying to say if I start and stop the download I don't have to download 29gb...

Or that you can download the file to another destination and simply click and drag over to my eso game folder, thus overwriting existing files, similar to what the eso launcher will do?

edit: aha, now I see what you mean, but then the launcher would have to automatically download to new folder and not have the same destination as your current folder.
