No. Shut up.

But the Thieves Guild could benifit greatly for some more Oceans Eleven style missions where we have to smooth talk people to let us past or blend in with the crowd.

Would be lovely if they replaced the whole resist arrest/pay fine/go to jail, not with courts and lawyers, but with that old favourite, trial by combat.

More focus on conversation choices in quests as a whole maybe.

But an entire lawyer faction? Nope.

Would be perfect when I role play as Harvey Birdman.

OBJECTION!!!!!!

You don't -touch- my thieves guild missions, kid! I've been robbing jewelry stores and alchemists since before you were in diapers! If there's one thing I know... it's that... erm...

... what was I saying again?

I voted yes.

I think it would be interesting to have a legal system in Skyrim. Even if that -was- just a local Lord with a couple judiciaries standing up on a pillar hearing your case. It's not at all outside of the lore, as was previously mentioned the Imperial Court operated in a similar enough way (even though you barely ever got to see it).

Meh.

It could be fun. It won't happen... but if someone made a mod. I'd get it.

As I said, lawyers, no.
But judges, yes.

Would be awesome if there's this big, beardy Nord-judge with a hammer of law saying something like:
"While it is clear that the defendent actually visited the Hulgraf the Tall on that day, there is no clear evidence to suggest that the facts in this regard has been such that the defendant actually killed him. Therefore, the Court finds the defendant not guilty of murder. Court costs are to be payed by the plaintiff."

I probably wouldn't want to see them as a "faction", but adding a couple of lawyers to the game could be interesting. You'd get a massive disposition boost with all of the other NPCs in the game for killing one....

Actually, I would strongly support a little more usefulness of the Speechcraft skill and more meaningful interaction with NPCs, but not taken in the suggested direction.

Not necessarily a lawyer faction, but I wouldn't mind a return of Daggerfall's courts or something like them.
