Lead the Way to New Ideas

Dynamic weather.

Just at random intervals a little storm (or patch of fog) passes through, making it hard to see. Plus the lightning and howling wind could be a factor. Kind of like the Hard Rain campaign in L4D2.

It would also be pretty cool if the map could turn from day to night or vice versa. What would that be called? Dynamic time?

This would add alot of ambiance to the game, In L4D2 That gives me goosebumps each time. I support this suggestion.

How about zomb... *gets shot in the head*....

I do not like the idea of destroyable terrain, but say a table ( which in BRINK doesnt impair movement ;) ) should not be strong enough to stay in the exact same place after someone emptied a full clip of grenade slugs underneath it. So i opt for destroyable props over terrain.

Shooting a table with non explosive guns should just fill it with holes and perhaps move it a little. But imo only exlosives should completely obliterate them...

Come to think of it... i dont recall seeing props in the movies... only heavy crates and such... They might not work well with SMART...

The more variables you can add to the game I just think it makes it that much more interesting. Weather would be nice touch.

More multiplayer games should have dynamic weather and/or day/night cycles/options.

I completely agree! I really do hope Brink has this feature in the future.

Especially day-night-cycles require a persistant world. Which, obviously, BRINK has not.

Dynamic weather does work best in a persistant world as well. In theory it could be used in games like Battlefield, Call of Duty or BRINK as well, but a game rarely ever lasts long enough to allow dynamic weather taking effect with players properly recognising it.
And I wouldn't want the game to go from brightest sunshine into severe rain during a few minutes.

what do you think about being able to hold onto a ledge and fight hanging off a ledge (like stealth wise) or if you were hanging on the ledge and then you notice someone going to walk by... wouldn't it be cool to wait till there past you to sneak around like assassins creed? ESPECIALLY if theres a NIGHT cycle :D
