leaderboard issues

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 7:50 am

Can anybody tell me why when you look at the leaderboards on the 360 version why all the top players in the top 50 or so have billions of XP points and that their gameplay time is less than in some cases 12 minutes of play. This is impossible to do unless you have been cheating, and if they have been cheating why havent EA removed them from the leaderboard lists.

If it does not matter why did EA even include Leaderboards. LETS get rid of them altogether, and why not at the same time get rid of levelling up your nanosuit and your weapon upgrades oh yes and even playing the game altogether.

Every FPS game needs to do this. So tired of this "lets get 10k exp and level up then get 11k exp and level up ....."

I used to think RPG's were for the nerds that needed to feel accomplishment in a video game.... Then they brought the **** straight to the FPS genre. Stupid stupid stupid.

You're right. And at the beginning of every match everybody starts with 50 kills and the match ends as a draw so every one can feel like a winner. And you can have all of the acheivements when you load the game for the first time so people with out the time can feel good about themselves too. And if somebody is a better shot than you then their gun will now shoot jelly beans instead to help level the playing field a little more. And grenades will explode into glorious streams of confeti for all the players to dance in while agreeing to a cease fire. Can't we all just be friends? Should'nt the attitude of "Everybody needs to feel like a winner all the time" stop when we get out of T Ball?

Did you read my post or did you just randomly pick a post to quote and stick a rant underneath it?

I think he means go back to the "classic" FPS games. I'm still an avid player of Quake 2, you shoot people, they die, repeat. Of course theres more to it, but the leveling system is starting to get overrated IMO.

what's wrong with leveling anyways? if the game got weapons and stuff to unlock you have to level up to get it. do you want some old fashioned fps where weapons just are randomly deployed on the map? me not.
don't want to offend anyone here, but there's way too much complaining about almost every aspect of this game. if you guys dont like it, sell it instead of starting topics with the same content over and over again.
