Well this quest was hella annoying and doomed to fail from the start. The first one I tried, i had to take the scribe to Gunners Plaza. Are you kidding me? How are any of us going to survive there? Safe to say, she didn't make it due her retardation AI and not staying behind me. Very frustrating that you can't tell them where to go, or go hide in a closet while I do some clean up.

I love this game, but this side quest is just silly and the companion AI needs drastic improvement. No wonder i just venture by myself on my travels. I get way too mad trying to save these people. I had Danse with me on this job too, but he also kept getting in the way.

Think i'm going back to being a lone wolf again.

I just accept the mission, go over to the side of the airship and snipe the scribe who is standing outside the airport while I'm hidden with a suppressed sniper and go back and say "the scribe didn't make it" for 300 XP each time. So I have never completed it successfully before

OMG seriously? LOL *shakes head* You are some mentor! I took a scribe with me cleaning out the Mass Pike Tunnel and he did fine. When we returned to the airport, I didn't go turn in the quest, because I thought the little scribe would just go about his business at the airport and I started the protect a research scribe mission - retrieving info from Corvega. So, we fast traveled to Corvega and surprise, surprise, the kid was still with me! LOL So, I told him, kid, you will learn some hard lessons today! At least the research scribe has a laser pistol and fights, too. I also had Danse with me, so we all did good.

But I don't think I will do the junior scribe missions again, I just don't want the kid to get hurt.
