Skyrim is my first Elder Scrolls game, and I loveee it! I am thinking of buying older TES games, but you guys have to help me.
I want to learn more about TES itself, so are there any real life books about it? And which TES games do you guys recommend?

If you want an alternative to the games i highly recommend the novels
they go by the name of: The infernal City and Lord of souls.
I also recommend getting Oblivion and Morrowind
