Least favorite dungeon type?

Post » Thu May 30, 2013 9:36 pm

After putting countless hours into Skyrim, it's natural to become bored or aggravated with certain dungeons. But after playing for some time, I've found that I really dislike going into certain types of dungeons more than others. So I wanted to know, which dungeon type do you dislike the most and why?

Personally, I used to love the Dwemer ruins, but now I want to puke whenever I see even the architecture. The dwarven spiders, the awful traps, and more often than not, those freaking Falmer and the dreaded CHAURUS. I hate hate hate those things.

Mines are pretty straight forward, but at least you can get some ore. But, yeah there isn't much to them really.

I love all the dungeons in SKYRIM. Every time I see one no matter how small or big I have to resist the temptation to go in if am on another quest. Usually though the temptation is too great like a little kid finding a huge open door to a candy store in the middle of the night with no one around :D I just walk in slowly in wide eyed awe at the anticipation of all the candy critters and tasty loot to be enjoyed.

Dwemer ruins.

Why does there have to be goblins in every single one?

Nordic Dungeons are the worst. IMO there are repetetive with little difference unless it's quest related. Caves are my Favorite as they are completely unpredictable

Hm, my favorite dungeon type has to be Nordic ruins, because of the architecture.

Something about the forts of Skyrim leaves me wanting more.. though there are some times when they work well. I generally enjoy Nordic and Dwarven ruins, although I like the feel of the Dwemer Ruins in Vvardenfell more. Solstheim's Dwemer Ruins are wonderful though, and Skyrim has some solid ones.

None of them are really that special in the first place, but I can't say I dislike them, they're all meh but you'll find some pretty good ones like the Dwemer ruins. I'll just go with mines because they're probably the most boring dungeon to ever go into.

I have no problem with Dwemer ruins and no problem with caves but I despise Falmer caves.

Can't stand Dwemer Ruins, I get lost, can never figure out if I have seen everywhere and always feel I have missed something important but just have to get out - my favourite would have to be caves.

Caves. To me they're the most bland, and home to some of my least favourite enemies - Falmer, Chaurus and Frostbite spiders ...

This is actually my answer too. I could name my least favorite in Morrowind and Oblivion, but not in Skyrim.

Probably 20? Or low 20s? There aren't too many but most of them are fantastic and very unique. Castle Karstaag was fantastic.
