This thread have probably been done before, but I want to know: What is your least favorite race in OB? Personally I dislike the Bosmer, mostly due to the fact that there is a RESPAWNING bosmer called Adoring Fan, and that most inngame NPCs of this race seem rather annoying as well.

P.S. I don't hate the race, only those who are annoying, which is about 90% of them.

Edit: I think the male bosmer are annoying, the female is much nicer.
Edit 2: This thread have nothing to do with removing races since they are all a part of the ES lore.

My character is a Bosmer and certainly hopes that you would not consider her annoying!

She likes all the races and can name dear friends from every single race.

She has also killed foul two legged varmints of every race.

Bosmer, annoying little turds with more in common with Keebler elves than wood elves.
That said there isn’t I single race I would like removed, they all have their place in the lore.

Bosmer. There's always a crazy or eccentric one in TES. Fargoth and Gaenor in Morrowind/Tribunal, and the Adoring Fan and Glarthir in Oblivion. Due to this running gag, I see them either as jokes, or I see them all as annoying nitwits who will most likely snap and go feral at any given moment thanks to them. I also can't stand playing as one because looking people in the shin bothers me to no end.

Makes me wonder which type of crazy we'll get in Skyrim.

I like all of them, but if I'm being forced to pick one as my least favorite, then I gotta go with Argonians. Sorry to all of you Argonian fans out there, I know there's a lot, but I don't share the love. Not sure why they're so popular anyway. I only pick Argonians over Khajiit just because Khajiit are so interesting in how there are, supposedly, over 20 different forms a Khajiit might appear in depending on how the moons are when they are born. Things like The Mane are cool as hell. Argonians...who knows what the hell they're up to. They're mysterious but not intriguing, not for me at least.

My absolute favourite are Khajiits but I couldn't stand Imperials, with their high-and-mighty attitude toward everyone else. This is confirmed in an Imperial province such as Cyrodil, everyone is like "Oh but you must act proper..." (finger wags.) They are hostile towards the Dark brotherhood, at least they accepted the Morag Tong in Morrowind. I just sulked and retreated to my mushroom dwelling I suppose...

Good reasons up until the Morag Tong bit. It's easy to accept the Morag Tong. They're law-abiding citizens who act with honor and perform honorable executions. The Dark Brotherhood hides in the darkness, serving an unfamiliar god, stabbing people in the back while they're asleep, murdering either for their own profit or for their own sadistic desires. Morrowind did not accept the Dark Brotherhood either.

Altmer, I hate those pncy goldenrods.

Orcs are my favorite and its spelled Orsimer.

I'm not a huge fan of Bosmer or Altmer. Bosmer because of Gaenor from Tribunal, and Altmer because they're, well, Altmer.

I like all of them. If you want to get technical, my "least favorite" are Imperials, Nords, and Bretons, but only because I'm more interested in the rest of the races. I don't actively dislike any of them.

Argonians. I don′t want to go around hating things, but I can′t stand reptillians

I hate 3 races in general... First of course The Orcs! I don't know but i hate this race very much! Second The Altmer, they are giant! and i don't like their face. and the last one is the Khajiit, cat faces doesn't have sense, at least for me...

Veronica respect every race in the game, however its a little bit dificult to make a friendship with an Argonian...
Sepht respect every race in the game too, however for im its dificult to make friendship with an Argonian too...
Sir Clyde doesn't have to much contact with the other races, he doesn't like the Argonian, The Khajiit and the Orcs. He say that those races are Monsters!

Really, can you name an annoying lady Bosmer? I think they are quite nice.

Buffy once heard a couple of Imperial men say that they would rather sleep with their horse than a Bosmer. That kind of hurt. It's really the beast folk and orcs that seem to get picked on alot though. Especially in Leyawiin. Here's a snip from Episode 68 of her Journal:

Yes, some Bosmer are annoying, but the few annoying ones can be avoided. Just don't play the Arena questline.
However, I don't like the specific people who hate an entire race because of a few people.

Ever since I started playing Oblivion, I've always hated Bretons for no apparent reason. Something about them (well, most of them) just makes me want to punch them in the face :shrug:

I believe Morag Tong was something like the assassin guild in diskworld, A way to add rules of engagements to the house infighting so it did not become a full civil war.

I don't like orcs mostly because of their stupid green skin colour (yes I have moded it but it has crated some weird texture problems) also they are ugly same with Argonians.
Not hate just a "do you want a full helmet from me?" feeling.

And yes the Khajiit ears are a very good feature.

And the adoring fan is simple to solve, let him follow you trough a oblivion gate and ask him to wait.
I usualy ask him to wait outside my house, as a footman or perhaps garden gnome.

Just added another question to the poll since some people(including myself) dislike one gender of a race, but not the other.

I hate bosmer males. I always want to play one, but can't bring myself to. I hate the male and female elf voice in oblivion. If I could make a bosmer male that was a bit taller (maybe almost the height of a breton male), they would be my favorite. Why can't they create a decent bosmer male npc? Why must they all be ugly, insane, annoying, or all of those?

For the record, I hated Gaenor too, but I can overcome that and appreciate the wonderfullness that is Wood Elves. :thumbsup:

I like everybody. There's a few dikes in every race, but that's easy to get over. Just kill the meanies and go talk to someone nice. Thus is formed a Tamriel of happy and nice people.

I don't like elves. Dunmer, Breton, Altmer...none of 'em.
