I voted the Legion as my least favorite major faction, because I think they're incredibly cruel. However, I do like their idea that any crime is unforgivable.

Didn't the BoS exterminate the Vipers?

Considering that Centurions have a shoulder pauldron and a few other pieces of T-45d Power Armor on their armor, it's likely Caesars Legion has taken on another chapter and won. Also, the Legion is savage, but they are still a worthy foe, to underestimate your opponent can only lead to demise, it's the oldest war philosophy, and this applies to Fallout too.

Okay? But the BoS still lost to NCR too. Like House said. "Apparently shiny power armor and weapons don't count for much when you're outnumbered 15:1". And he's right. Look what happened at Helios, and apparently whatever conflict Caesars Legion won against the BoS with. It isn't about scare factor, what I'm saying to you is that the fact of the matter is that training and shiny toys don't amount to much when your enemy can launch enough power at you till you're out of ammo. Plus, the Legion being trained in weapons and rigorously in melee. Know what will happen when that BoS Paladin's gun jams and he's in his foxhole trying to fix it? A legionarie will swipe that head of his right off with a broad machete.

Seriously, Power Armor and Laser Weapons don't make the BoS war gods. It just makes them better equipped for a fight.



Remember what I said about ifs and wants? The fact is the BoS DIDN'T have the numbers, and even though they held out, in the end, they lost the battle.

Problem is that we *don't* have much evidence about their supposed 'superiority' in fights. All we saw(or heard about) was the Operation Sunburst where BoS got their asses kicked by a bunch of well organized soldiers.

Are you also forgetting that the BOS is also very trained also??? They just arnt a bunch of people with power armor,they are soldiers just like the NCR. Plus i would like to see a legionarie even atempt to swipe his neck off because he couldnt swipe through power armor for one. and also the BOS soldier would punch him once and make his gut go through his back. Yah also considering how long they held when they were outnumbered 15:1 states something. And that is they are not pvssys or a terrible faction. The fact that NCR had them out numbered that much and they almost got wrecked says alot...

The Legion, however, is a whole other story. The Legion's got frumentarii, and if one Frumentarus can become a captain in the NCR, they can probably somehow weaken the BoS.

Oh for the love of God. You're missing my point entirely. Training is not an absolute assurity. The Legion are just as well trained as NCR troops and BoS knights. If you ask Moore, she even dreads them, saying they are extremely fast and agile. Also, there is no evidence the NCR was almost wrecked at Helios, hell, theres very little mention of the fight for Helios from the NCR troops.

No, it's more because the troops that died, well, died. The NCR moved on to bigger and better things. To them the BoS was a minor setback. Making hyperbole statements about the Brotherhood doesnt change the fact they are incompetent Knights of Yore LARPers.

No actually they are powerful and they are far better than the INCOMPETENT NCR and Legion. Not to mention that the NCR is stupid enough to put him on the job when they dont ask for any thing else to back up what he says. They cant go out and try to survive out of that bunker since there numbers are severely diminished and the NCR 10 years ago is now one hell of a army.
