Leaving Cyrodiil area

Post » Sun Mar 02, 2014 7:09 pm

This question is straightforward and quite urgent. How do I leave Cyrodiil and get back to questing where I was? I left off from Stonefalls by selecting a campain but there seems to be noone, at least noone is speaking in the /zone chat. I would really love to get back and do some more exploration.

you head back to your alliances home base (where the quest boards etc are located), then you use the wayshrine (not the transitus shrine) and pick any wayshrine you have found outside of cyrodill

this does need to be made clearer as this questions is constantly asked in cyrodill zone chat. thats why no-one answers because they have already answered it 50 times and are sick of doing so

Agreed they need to make it explicitly clear that you must use a wayshrine to exit cyrodil.

That said cyrodil plays that badly for me I'm not going to go back!

I'm not sure what resource throttling they are doing during this beta but last beta i had zero lag in cyrodill. When its not laggy the PvP is awesome. I would highly recommend not writing cyrodill off on the basis of this test session

I was putting it down to my PC being 7 years old. But then I can play all of the PvE content thus far with settings on high. Was shocked to find that even on the lowest settings for everything (distance set to 0 as well) that it was a lag fest where by I couldn't even target or hit someone.

I'm going to build a new PC shortly after release that should be better at handling Cyrodil

lag in cyrodill today has rendered it pretty much unplayable (actions taking between 5 and 30 secs between button press and result in game). As i say, last beta i had zero lag in battles at least 50 vs 50. So its probobly not down to hardware (but if you want to choose to believe it is as justification for building your dream uber-gaming rig, far be it from me to stop you :P )

I just hope this weekends lag was down to a deliberate resource throttling on the part of the devs (as some form of stress test) and not due, simply, to ncreased population from friend invites
