It's not unusual while playing to have to pause my game for short periods of time, 5 to 20 minutes in length, to take care of some household chore or another. So I hit the ESC, take care of whatever crisis has arisen and when I get back, I find the game is unresponsive. Eventually, it comes back but it's glitchy and the only way to clear it seems to be to exit the game completely and restart. I'm running the game on a windows 7 PC with 16 m ram. I get great performance otherwise. Oh, and it's a steam copy... I've got steam chat or whatever the heck it is in game, turned off. Does anyone know of any other tweaks I could make that might prevent this from happening? Thanks, in advance.
