Leaving Tamriel?

Post » Sun Apr 07, 2013 8:13 am

Who else thinks it would be awesome if the next game had a DLC or questline that took you out of Tamriel and onto one of the lost continents?
Edit: Also, which continent would you like to visit?

No thank you, my console is already chugging. I dont need an entire continent to load up.

I'd rather have Akavir remain mysterious though I'd like to visit the remaining Yokudan isles.

If it's a DLC the only logical one would be Atmora...Though more Ice and snow doesn't sound very good at this point.

Atmora is desolated, nothing is there anymore.

If they have to send us to another continent, they should at least do so in a game. An expansion wouldn't be enough to cover an entirely new continent, let alone a bit of DLC.

Yeah but Dragonborn made sense you where visiting a island. Weird invisible walls would kinda be...awkward.

Well, since we don't know anything about how the land is laid out, maybe a giant chasm that you can't even cross with full Whirlwind Sprint? Maybe a giant earthquake caused it.

I'd rather find where that Phsijic Order is. But the idea is a good one.

Redguards probably killed everything there.

I would rather see mainland Morrowind. Back in TES 3 Vvardenfell was just a glimpse of Morrowind and even Tribunal didn't show much

The closest we've been to Mainland Morrowind is Mournhold - one city.

A lot of the Wandering Ehlonfey seem to have ended up there and probably not all of them came over to skyrim,so there might be variations of gaint and human society there i.e people who didn't follow the Nords into skyrim.

Given the time frame for developing DLC, I don't think they would be able to properly set up lore on a new continent to the same detail as what they do in a full game.

There was an expedition launched in the third era, it was completely void of life.

It says little signs of life and no sign of human habitation, they probably didn't go into the interiors of Atmora.

well even when there were Humans there they stuck to the coastline because it was easier to live there.

As I said it doesn't have to be human civilization,It could be giants or some other form the wanderers evolved into in the frigid areas.
