Leaving the game because of the latest update

Post » Sun Feb 14, 2016 4:31 pm

I don't know what you guys are thinking with the wasteland cap limit.

I was hoping this update would at least return legendaries to the wasteland drops and have a "select all" for selling wasteland items.

But not only did you NOT return legendaries to the wasteland, you now limit how many dwellers I can have out there.

So screw this, I'm done.

Agreed !! This cap simply kill the game !!! I have no more motivation in playing it !!

PS: The "select all" for selling items would be a great thing !!!

There are still a huge amount of bugs requiring a fix.

And what does Bethesda do. Add more content!

AND gimp the only active part of the game, exploration.

Also, considering the requirements of quests have become ridiculous (sell 724 items, send 40 dwellers into the wasteland)) it will be even worse with so few outside the vault.

Quests only give useless caps anyways. Boxes are so damn rare it's pointless. All I really have to do in-game now is logging in every 2-3 days to collect the explorers and send them back out.

That's it. There is nothing else to do. No end game. No "activities". Nothing.

Who the F makes the decisions over there? Drunk kindergarteners? Spastic chimps? Amoeba?

Bethesda, I've been with you since Fallout 1, and you've never really been "on the ball".

But we could always cope with that.

But God dang it, it just keeps getting worse...

Developers have changed but Fallout has been published by Bethesda since forever I think.

But publishing and developing are two different beasts.

That said I'm in agreement that the wasteland cap was a disappointing move. I can see perhaps why they did it. The game got really choppy with 20+ explorers and UI elements starting sliding off screen.

Still I'd prefer that over this situation.

I'm going to try and work around having only 10 slots to explore with but I'm certainly not going to enjoy it.

Fallout started with Interplay.

Which was bought and integrated into Bethesda.

Just submitted my 1 star review on the iOS App Store. Not only does the explorer limit make no sense (unless you want to try to get people to spend money) but it killed my vault since I have more than 10 explorers out and no way to collect from them as the UI disappears and I can only kill the process in iOS. Really disappointed with this patch.

Mmm... Yes and no. Bethesda got right to sell the games on 2014 even they already owned the intellectual property since 2007. But they still "exist" as a company...

Majority of the people that created the Fallout games are over at Obsidian and InExile. Bethesda just own the rights to the name and previous games. Nothing else.

I had that happening as well. I hard reset my phone and after that it worked again. But after reading the changes on here I think I'll be uninstalling it.
