Anyone else sport this fine gem of headgear? Love the +25 points in vats.

I believe I got it once, but never worn it much.

Mostly I just let those Hockey Players go on their weird way.

+25 AP though! Plus you can sell them the formula, then kill them and take it back! Its win win.

Well right now +25 AP is not particularly appealing to my characters any more. Because I find that the more I've played the game the less I use VATS. Maybe that's just me.

But if you like it that's great!

Never had it actually. Never knew how to get it. Just not a fan of face-concealing headgear.

You have to get the nuka cola quantim receipe from the nuka cola plant, and then the hockey player raiders spawn at the Red racer building after. one of them has the good mask. Its a beauty!

Note that if you want the mask you must go after you have the recipe, and while the Nuka-Cola Challenge quest is active. Once you complete the quest they will no longer spawn.

Yeah thats right, you do need the receipe before, but you don't need that quest active. I just did it on this play through without that quest being opened. I find the first person shooting a bit rough in FO3 and New Vegas, so I prefer VATS and as much AP as possible.

Not wanting to sound a pedantic bas**** but it's the Nuka-Cola Clear formula :thumbsup:

I would not wear the mask because it looks awful. However if you use it in conjunction with the Mod ‘Ranger Helmet 5418’ the mask doesn’t show and you still get the benefits.

i just kill the weirdos after i sell them to the formula and then i sell all of their stuff for caps. or trade it for ammo.
