Leg Injury :I

Post » Tue Nov 10, 2009 1:15 pm

Hello, everyone.

So, today during a game of soccer, someone kicked my lower leg pretty much as hard as they could (complete accident). I dropped, and couldn't stand for about 2 minutes because I could hardly even feel my leg. But finally, I managed to limp away before the pain got to me.

So now, five hours later, my leg is still in pain. Horrible, can't walk on it, pain. But since there's no bruise, or swelling, or any bad looking marks, my whole family thinks I'm faking the pain to get out of school, or P.E., or something.

Anyways, to the question: Since my leg hurts, but there's no visible way to tell, could it possibly be something like a cracked bone, or something? I mean, it's only bad because my family thinks I'm faking and don't feel the need to help me in anyway. Surely someone here is knowledgeable on the subject? Thanks :]

I am not a doctor in real life but I play one on the internet.

But seriously, go to the doctors. Not the best thing to be asking a gaming forum.

Go see doctor.

That is what I would do.

Maybe a veterinarian might help.

Go to the hospital and have it checked NOW. We're not doctors, and waiting on a broken bone can cause it to heal improperly, even a small fracture. Heck, even a small fracture can lead to infections for all you know.

GO TO A DOCTOR!

As always, asking about medical issues on a gaming forum never strikes me as a great idea - usually the answer is "kill it with fire". The better answer is call a doctor in the morning, or if it is really bad, go to the ER.

So, no medical advice, and I am locking the thread.
