I know Bethesda is okay with people making "Let's Plays" and such of Skyrim(http://www.bethblog.com/bethesda-video-policy/), but is it okay to take screenshots? Forgive me if I'm being overly formal, but I was just curious.

Its legal.
They can't stop you from taking pics of in game activities, a game YOU bought, on a PC you bought. using a function that comes not only with the game but on your keyboard.
You should check out the spoiler section, a ton of photos in the screenshot thread there.
of course it is legal
not only is there a specific key and console commands that allows you to make screenshots it is also the best publicity they can wish for and it is free for them
Normal screenies are legal if you use them as in gamespirit. Showing friends and others the beauty of the
hame is not illegal.
I think Photo-shopped pics can be walking a thin line though, if you abuse them the wrong way.
But then, what is the wrong way?
If it isn't, there's a lot of people in trouble!
The only time I think it would not be okay is if you were under an NDA that forbids it, like with the recent ESO beta.
What are you in for?
Taking screenshots of Skyrim.
"Let me guess...someone posted your screenshot!"
No, the screenshot thread is full of criminals that should be punished for their crimes.
This reminded me of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dm6xexu_wJY This lol.
@OP- Yes, Posting pics of your game is okay. シ
