Legate Lanius vs Legendary Deathclaw

Post » Sat Oct 30, 2010 10:24 am

Why is lanius(a mere human lulz) more powerful than a legendary deathclaw?

I can kill legendary deathclaw easily in 3-4 shots on very hard with alien blaster but legate lanius takes time to kill.

Plz explain.. :) :)

If you talk to various Legion NPC's you will hear that Lanius is really really really strong.
So... Let's just say that there is actually someone out there who is on the same level as Graham.

Why would you post a Spoiler in the General Section? You know better than that.

I'm not sure your premise works here. I can one shot kill Legate Lanius with either an AMR or sniper rifle with AP rounds, and I don't come any where near that with the Legendary Deathclaw. I'm guessing its a case of using the right tactics for each enemy.

Nope, the Fat Man is [censored]. It doesn't even one hit Super mutant brutes. They messed up big time with it, idiots.

Put lanius in the final form, with the armour and blade of the east aswell.

0.o Ok maybe gameplay wise it would be overpowered to have it kill everything it touches in one shot, bue seriously its a [censored] space laser powered by the sun! It should kill anything it touches, having a dude in metal armour survive is just wrong.
However I have just found a new "badass test" Iam now going to see if I can survive an archimedes blast... See obsidian this is what you have turned me too.

Considering there are already weapons in the game that can kill anything in one shot. I don't see a problem with having a 1/day laser beam from the sky accomplish the same task.
Granted with those other weapons it make take a sneak attack to the head with the better critical's perk to do the job. My point remains there is not a single solitary foe in the entire game you can't die in one hit.

The c-finder is in the ew cat. So I'm gonna assume it uses the ew skill.

One sneak attack critical to the head with the Brush Gun (in Very Hard mode) and he died . . . kind of anitclimatic. I was bummed . . .

Had to re-load and let him start combat with me first to make it a challenge . . .

I know that, but I am curious if its damage is fixed due o it being unique or if my EW skill matters.

Well, take a look at your EW skill. Is it high?

Probably not.
