Legendary Bloatfly Bug?

Post » Wed Jul 20, 2011 11:30 pm

All puns aside, I went in and killed the Legendary Bloatfly, killed it with my Elijah's Advanced LAER++ and, upon death, for some odd reason, the LBF turned into both an Ash Pile and a Goo Pile. Anyone else experience this? Also, my Meltdown went off twice, once when it died, and another time about 5 seconds afterwards. If it helps I was also using Turbo.

EDIT - The inventory seems to be universal, I can loot both piles, but once I loot either, the other becomes empty.

Yeah, you can add all the LAER mods to it. :)

Hmm, interesting theory. :D Makes more sense than the alternative.

Hate to be the Kill joy, but the Legendary Bloatfly is scripted to turn into a goo pile, and explode a few seconds after death. By criting with a Laser weapon, you got an ash pile and the scripted goo pile, and your Meltdown went off once, then the scripted explosion went off.

I was wondering about that. Either that LBF is extremely doped up or something else is going on.

Your only questioning the 17 Psycho when there is 51 Bloatfly Meat?!? It must have eaten all its children to get a drop/health like that.
