That legendary bloatfly was a much harder fight than that giant radscorpion in the game. I'm not surprised it trounced them so thoroughly.

The Legendary Bloatfly is a true fierce enemy, but that doesn't mean I fear it. I killed it and enjoyed killing it. I will fear nothing in the Mojave Wasteland or DLC Areas! Christine's COS Silencer Rifle will take care of these so called "feared" creatures. If I could face Gojira, I would. But I'm on console.
Oh, and those videos are great!

It took me about...I dunno, 60 plus shots and a high sneak skill to remain largely undetected with Christine's Sniper rifle? OR Gobi? Can't remember...Anyways, it took a lot of damn JSP shots to kill that bastard.

That damned legendary Bloatfly ripped through the giant roboscorpions even quicker than GODZILLA!!

(Shame you didn't do Bloatfly vs 5 Giant Roboscorpions, cos, well, now I just don't know!!)
