Okay……so I finally got a PS3 two months ago. I grabbed a used copy of Skyrim at Gamestop, and of course became rapidly addicted. (Every other game I own is unopened and neglected, LOL) I finally grabbed the Legendary Edition from Walmart yesterday and brought it home to download the three provided DLCs from the disc.
When you insert the disc, it shows up under ‘Game’ as “Skyrim” and then under that shows “Skyrim Downloadable Content”. When I click on the DLCs, it shows the three different ones in sequence: Dawnguard, Dragonborn and then Hearthfire. I clicked on Dawnguard, it went through the install process, and then I went back to the menu area. Up higher on the ‘Game’ list (up past the disc selection), I clicked on the Disc Utility or whatever it was called, and it showed Dawnguard there. So naturally, I proceeded to install the other two. Neither one will show up on the list, but it does say they were installed at the end of the install process. What gives? I updated the PS3 so it’s now version 4.65 or whatnot. I uninstalled and reinstalled Dawnguard, then uninstalled it and just tried installing Hearthfire. No matter what I do, only Dawnguard shows on the list. Do I assume they are just added onto the game disc? If so, why does it instruct me to download them, and why does Dawnguard show up in the utility list but not the other two?
I also have Obilivion, the game of the year edition, and it includes the two add-ons. For this disc, they don’t show up on the game menu to download, so I know they are just on the game already. So what gives with Dragonborn and Hearthfire??
PLEASE HELP ME.
I need to feed my addiction.
Other info that i dont know if it pertains or not.
The paper that came with the disc says you need to be a level 22 for Dragonborn to be activated. I am only a level 21 (almost a 22! ).
When i connected the PS3 to WiFi (via my crappy mobile phone hotspot), it did pop up saying there was a patch available for Skyrim (version 1.09 i think it had said?) that i ignored.
There is definitely enough memory.
