So i sink in 100 hours in Skyrim( I know I'm a couple years late but whatever). I decide to get the legendary edition but its not picking up my old save file. THIS IS REALLY FRUSTRATING, I already posted a question regarding this to Bethesda support to no avail.

The vanilla skyrim I had was a BLES version I got in India( Region 2) but the legendary edtion I got is from the Us( region 2, BLUS)

kindly let me know about what should I do.

BLES: Europe game (region 2)

BLUS: America game (region 1)

Saved games work similarly to DLC. When you save your game, the file it creates is of the same region as the game. You cannot load it up on a copy of the game from a different region.

I'm not sure it will work, but you could try to copy the save to a USB stick, go into X:\PS3\SAVEDATA and rename the BLESXXXXXX folder to BLUSXXXXXX and then copy it back to the PS3.

It doesn't work like that, it can be done, but not exactly like described above.

But that's "Hacking" and strict FORBIDDEN on those forums. !!!
