Legendary edition purple textures

Post » Mon Jul 22, 2013 10:06 pm

Started a new game and random textures are purple. Tried different saves and loading but no difference...is this a common issue or is there a fix? Harddrive has plenty of space and installed the game and dlc like instructed. Any help would be appreciated.

sometimes it can be that some textures gone bad, bud purple textures i have seen only on Skyrim for PC.

How many hours do you play without rest ????

You have probably installed the 1.9 patch as well i presume !!!!

----------------------------------------

It can be a heating error from your console.

It can be a faulty installation to your HDD.

It can be corrupted files within the database.

-----------------------------------------

Normally if you restart your console the problem should be cone !!!!

If your problem persist do this:

Delete your main skyrim and the additional data folder with your DLC's (do not delete your saves) - (make a backup if you want but leave them there)

Go to your PS3 recovery menu *** and do step 3 and 4.

------------------------------------------------------------------

3. Restore File System

4. Rebuild Database

------------------------------------------------------------------

after that install your main game + patch again and your DLC's afterwards.

Load your save(s) and see what happens...Good Luck !!!!

------------------------------------------------------------------

*** 1. With the system in standby mode. Press and hold the power button down until the system turns on and then off again. Release the power button.

Very important to hold the power button until the console shuts off and to release the power button before continuing to step 2.

2. After about 1 - 2 seconds press and hold the power button again, until you hear 2 consecutive beeps. Release the power button.

During this step you will actually here three beeps. There will be one single beep then a short delay followed by the 2 consecutive beeps.

Only release the the power button after the 2 consecutive beeps.

3. You will then be instructed to plug in a controller, via the usb cord, and press the PS button.

4. At this point the PS3 Recovery Menu will be shown on the screen.
