On survival difficultly. It took him about 3-5 seconds to shred through my fully upgraded X-01 Enclave power armor (Best PA in the game). I'v faced legendary Deathclaws, Raiders, Mirlock Queen and even the super mutant behemoth but none came close to the killing speed of a legendary Mr. Gutsy on survival mode........Damn

Bet you get the single most useless legendary drop from him too.

I think a Legendary Sentry Bot will be the ultimate foe.

Yea that gusty robot was nuts. Took me quite a few true before I ended up getting my power armor

You could always just shoot his eyes, you know. They're pretty fragile.

Honestly, I'd say it's probably Gutsy over a Sentry Bot on Legendary; if only because it seems you can be gooified far more easily by plasma than lasers or getting eaten by gattlings. Limb size and VATS percentage also factor in. In equal situations it always seems that a VATS percentage on a Gutsy limb is far lower than a Sentry weapon mount, so there's that as well.

Lengendary sentry bot!!! You can only outsmart it....if you're lucky.

Sentry bots are terrible if you engage them close range, because they blow up.

Its actually not that hard to beat in melee, but its the aftermath that makes it hard.

Gutsies are tougher from afar, but easier when you close the distance and stun lock them.

The leg gutsy also explodes

There are GOOD legendary loot drops?

I find anything that you can use VATS on to be extremely easy. Legendary Gusty and Sentry are cake walks.

The hardest enemy I've fought is a Legendary Assaultron Dominator which can not be targeted in VATS since it is stealth 100% of the time, and has extremely high defense penetration which 1-2 shots my 500HP character.

heh I sent legendary sentry bot after some gunners. Didnt relize it was a legendary till it walked pass me. I just watched it slaughter all of them then explode.

Best legendary drops are dependant on what item its attached too

Sprinter for legs is great, chemeleon is ok but the stealth boy effect is weak

Explosives for high fire rate weapons will tripple damage output.

Multiple rounds are epic with explosive weapons more bang for your buck, but double the DPS regardless for the same ammo costs

Some legendary drops are kinda too situational like anti mirelurk stuff

The 50+ Rad damage seems to be really good on a Gatling or Auto Laser rifle.

What? I thought every legendary enemy dropped a legendary item. Are you sure he was legendary? Legendary in his name with a star next to it or was he just a skull one (meaning he's a higher level)?

I was at level 43 that time.. I do remember a legendary item but it was most likely trashed or sold can't remember what I did with it but I know it was way lower than my current gear

Now that you mentioned it, those things are vicious with that extremly OP laser beam maybe even on par with gutsy IMO

I've yet to face one, but a legendary mirelurk king sounds like a nightmare.The regular variant seems to chew through my power armour.

I'm on Very Hard, not Survuval, which is still by no means a picnic. The hardest legendary I've ran into was a freaking legendary Bloatfly. It could 3 shot me, and if it didnt start hammering stimpaks, it's poison would kill me in less than 5 seconds. I died 12 times to kill that booger.

Those things are so pesky. The giant mosquito things are just a death wish if you engage a group of them on survival

Has anyone else come across a mole rat with a bomb strapped to his back? I was close to the old crashed Vertibird, northern part of the map, and I heard the same sound the suicide super mutant's bomb gives off. Started looking around.. up from the ground came a freaking mole rat with a bomb strapped to its back!

Auto Critical on a double fatman shot in VATS kills everything.

Yep I've seen one of these it seems to be raider equivalent to the SM bomber except it can basically teleport as long as there is dirt.
