Legendary Skills and OCD

Post » Sun May 19, 2013 2:45 am

I am quite a completionist when it comes to games like skyrim so as of the 1.9 patch I have been planning to get my character to level 251 in order to get every perk.

The problem is I hate the way the skill screen looks with all skills at level 100 and then certain skills that are easy to level such as illusion and alteration with the legendary icon beneath them with the count of how many times you've made this skill legendary. It looks uneven to me and offends my OCD. It makes me feel like I'm supposed to be making all the other skills legendary but I don't have the patience for getting things like speech to level 100 again.

Is there any way to remove this at all perhaps by resetting it in dragomborn? Sounds a bit sad I know but that's OCD for you

Ha glad to know I'm not the only one. I just think it would be so much better if the little count wasn't there at least and just the legendary icon itself. I'd be fine with that.

You could always mod it out. Unless you're on console, in which case, you are SOL.

Not really a problem, just a bored nitpick really. I may just legendary each skill and get them to level 100 once and then keep doing alteration until I'm at 251. Damn Bethesda for giving me more things to do :D

Try to set your mind to think of it in another way - the skills you have on legendary are only those suited to your character and those skills are the only ones you really care about. Blocking out the useless perk trees.

E.g your a stealth mage, so not getting 2 handed and block to legendary shouldn't really offend your sense of OCD, conversely offend your "sense" of playthrough.
